EU rised yesterday after it dropped at the monthly S1 level, but didn't excited about and stalled later, the daily high stayed untouched, but closed inside the range. The levels I watch this morning are, 1.0850/85 and 1.0813 & 1.0795. Daily volatility (range) 50 pips 1 hour {image} Green pips
Bears not over yet but either bulls, 1.0812 is safe and price can move above quick or at least until it gives up!

While the progress in the EUR/USD pair has been modest, I think it's important to remember that the Eurozone economy is showing signs of resilience. The recent data out of Spain and Italy has been encouraging, and this could be a positive sign for the rest of the Eurozone.

From the other US economy is still strong, but eventually will fall. FED cutting rates may be just around the corner - in fact tomorrow we'll learn more!

However, we need to be cautious about getting too excited too soon. There are still some clouds on the economic horizon, particularly when it comes to inflation and the impact of the ongoing war in Ukraine. So, it's important to keep a balanced perspective and monitor developments closely.

For now, I think it's wise to take a wait and see approach with the EUR/USD pair. If it can continue to build on its small gains and break through resistance levels, we could see a more significant rally. But if it starts to lose momentum, we might want to be prepared for a potential pullback.

In short, patience is key in these markets, and I think we should keep an open mind about where the EUR/USD pair might go next.

Unless of course this week's red news will be much in favor of EUR.

You are right, no signs of thrust yet, however, the reaction to support was ok and atm I believe the highs will be challenged soon.

Thank you for the learning tips. I am the one who don’t know . The MACD signal what you pointed is a sell signal. So the level will be a resistance, no? If this is a sell signal is confusing why is also a reversal sign, because based on MACD normally I am waiting the south direction? Can you explain for me shortly? Thank you in advance!

Ok. Maybe my explanation wasn't clear.
On the given example, weekly chart, price is going down but the MACD signal is still positive (blue line over red line).
At the point where the two lines are about to cross, price rejects that area and moves back up.
When the weekly candle closes, we will know whether trend remains bullish or has indeed turned bearish.
In many instances where proper rejection of the signal line occurs (where lines cross) it can work as an indication that with some degree of probability the previous highs will be challenged.
This can happen on any timeframe, higher the better as with most indicators and gives trader a huge advantage.

Wednesday Outlook

  1. Before I call it a day, here are my quick thoughts for Wednesday:
  2. Although bulls might attack some highs towards 1.0875 area max. for now I mainly see bear power on this chart!
  3. Daring to buy dips today has worked and attempts gave us cute profits, but direction is still down. Please note that my most recent AB=CD target: 1.0728 area is not fully achieved yet.
  4. I am also aware that the bullish Cup & Handle is still intact and therefore bulls are keeping their hopes. Especially as long as price stays above 1.0722. But I have chosen to freeze this option for now.
  5. All considered: for Wednesday after London opening and if we are still below 1.0875, I probably will shy away from buying dips. Instead, I will be looking for new chances to go short again.

Calling it day here folks... Take care and trade safe...

EU dropped near 1.0812 after good jolts and us consumer numbers yesterday, now is waiting for more releases this morning from europe, but there are biggest news later (FOMC) so it might stay inside the 1.0795/1.0857 range. If a break happens next levels to watch are 1.0765/47 and 1.0885/1.0920.
