Hi Rocky, How do you avoid the chop or sideways markets? Finding that I'm getting a lot of in and outs small losses. I guess it's experience. Just trading on a demo account for now but that's what I'm struggling with. Thank you!

Trades from today. Thinking of only trading the New York open from now on to try and avoid low volume. Just for the record on that last trade I didn't hold through those red candles by willpower. Multiple candles were just printing at the same time from high volume. {image}

Apparently its a 50 tick chart but before I uploaded the template I had to set the original chart to 1 minute with the renko bars. Probably sound like a noob saying this but yeah I haven't taken the time yet to really understand it and I should. If I apply the same template to major pairs the candles form way slower and I guess that's because they have less ticks? Was pretty shocked when I put the template on XAUUSD and it moved way faster....

So you need to know how many ticks one point has and set it accordingly. See my older posts on this topic for more. E.g. S&P 500 Futures - Mar 24 has Tick Size 0.25 pt.
