Disliked{quote} Futures, futures, futures.......they want us to trade what they want us to trade. Forex and CFDs takes away from it.Ignored
Disliked{quote} 100% correct... Once Binance introduced stock futures, it was only a matter of time before the US took them out. If CFDs were legal in the US... They would steal volume away from markets completely dominated by US exchanges... $$$ If a trader/institution/hedge fund wanted to hold the S&P 500 futures for years they would incur years of forced quarterly rolling & commissions, which are eliminated by non expiring CFDs... $$$ CFD real time data = free, futures real time data = monthly exchange fees... $$$ CFDs are taxed on realization when sold,...Ignored

Disliked{quote} From what I gather from metaquotes the brokers have other problems beyond the crypto stuff. For starters, they are not allowing props to get a metaquotes license anymore. The ones getting them now have brokerage licenses elsewhere (offshore). I suspect something will come with the brokers but what do I know, I'm just a random poster on an internet forum. The argument against props using a 3rd party broker is much easier for US regulators in my opinion, as those brokers shouldnt be accepting any US resident full stop as the service they provide...Ignored
Disliked{quote} IN that case one should not look further than props that are their oen brokers, like FTMO,5ers,ACG.Ignored
