One possible scenario is that the Reverse Flag Pattern will play out and that the price will fall to ~1.08000 where I would stay buying at.
Another possibility is that the price will break the resistance (trendline) at ~1.10000 and then ~1.10000 would start acting as a support.

I'm long from the bottom yesterday low with small position. Sleep time, I don't want nightmares. Lol. I believe that price will not be lower than yesterday low. And adding another buy in Asia season. I'm connecting Wednesday and Thursday high low. It makes HH, LL, HL, LL, HL. And woken up, tadaaa got green pips.

I believe this is the Paul Tudor Jones strategy. An aggressive trading take top and bottom. Searching for the pullback.

When I develop an idea, I pursue it from a very-low-risk standpoint until proven wrong repeatedly, or until I change the viewpoint. I'm slave to the tape and proud of it. PTJ.

Good morning folks.. Today the same question remains: Can bull break above resistance currently sitting at: 1.0986-ish!

  1. Bulls can enjoy support coming from ~1.0945 and also from ~1.0903 if bears counter-attack later.
  2. The main problem is: No economic stimulant to motivate bulls!
  3. I personally keep a bullish bias for now and keep buying dips but of course we must see how new data affects both sides.
  4. As I always say: Best is to go step by step and to trade extra careful until the end of this sideways choppy cycle.

Yep there is chance for that too... we mentioned it below yesterday

I dont think the bulls can break that resistance! The daily chart looks kindda bearish. My opinion!

Mr.Ata, you are very good advisor here. I believe I am not the only one to mention it. And I always take your words as reference to do my trade. Actually I starting to short it and put my SL at 1.110 according to 4hrs chart. Looking for breach of 1.09 first.

Agreed.. but that's why we shouldn't fall for "looks"... It is best to wait for more data... To me we are in limbo, so I trade mixed, slightly inclined towards buying more than selling! Buy-70%/Sell-30% ratio I would say...

Here is the weekly chart.. for those who are skeptical about bulls... Please mind that bulls actually broke out from the big circle a few weeks ago..

1.0938 area is my main support here! Now you know...

First trade was yesterday at the high of the range, but carefully with the target as the trendline has been updated - its higher now so it might prevent the bears from dropping to the low of the range at around 1.0875 - first target. Above the resistance at near 1.0998 a strong close will turn eurusd to medium bullish and target the high of the range - upper falling trendline.

Ata i check your buy entry at 969, good enter 2hrs ago but two attempts to break 986 has been abortive.so you might like to exist that trade and re-enter at 940 if 30mins didn't hold above 970.i will buy at 940 anyway.My 2cents

I have closed all my shorts at 1.0949. It appears bears are looking for every excuse to jack price up. NFP and CPI, which were both excellent pieces of data for the US, had no action except spikes. I think they might kick in from higher prices, but I am not keen to buy yet. Another scare is that there is huge option expiry sitting at 1.1000. While this might keep price capped until expiry, I do not know what happens after that. Lastly, PPI data to be released later in the day may not be green and what bigger excuse for these pesky bulls to rise like the eagle?

I have no trades on in any if my accounts. I am happy.
