It looks like the eu.. with all those 200 blocking a drop. The 200 uc blocking the rise.

There may be some decent trades, if the 200 on a bunch of usd crosses breaks. They haven't broke. Trades the other way may be looked at.

2.5 hs to go. Pa is above 0939.9 st bull side. Its still below 1041. No prediction here. If it closes today below 0930, bears should be back. LC was 0966/67. the 1h 200 is 0968ish

I'm a bit biased towards emerging nations since a year or two back.. There is some IMF data which suggests the same.
I think the 'west' will just float around in terms of GDP growth.

That their debt is in US dollar can actually be beneficial for their currencies also, as a lower value of the dollar will make buying their debt cheaper, so there will be an inflow of capital boosting their currency.
So in terms of opportunity there can be alot more in emerging nations, as also the policymakers have an interest in these countries.

Here are two charts from International Monetary Fund(IMF) of predictions/outcome of real GDP growth throughout the world, for 2023 and 2024. Of course this can all change with war.

The problem being money borrowed. For example a sewer system/drinking water for a emerging city. The money borrowed to build it. Is borrowed in usd. It's to be paid back in usd. If the borrowers currency has lost value versus the usd. It takes a lot more of a countries wealth to pay it back. Money for other needs can shrink. This can enslave a country. Let's say the value of the borrowers currency loses 5% in a trend. A 5% loss in the future trending can be a lot more. The value of the currency is dropping, making the payments higher. This has been a problem for a while. More when the country defaults and unable to borrow. That entire country suffers. Inflation within the country while the currency is worth less to the usd.

When countries default or need debt restructuring. It helps dry up credit for that country, and others. Research this, you will find it can make poor countries poorer. It can also invite countries such as China to rule a countries strawman. This leaves room for a country to lose some independence. Countries rich with natural resources may be robbed. That is part of the reason the world bank exist. To stop such things. It dont always work.
Things may seem fine when a loan is taking out. 5 or 10+ years down the road things may change. On a 30 or 50 year loan. Banks can't know the geopolitical futures. Or the complex future of global slowdowns, wars, drought, or whatever.
