Monthly pivot is 1.0967. If we can get firm closes above on the daily I will switch my bias fully to long and take my range from today's bottom. No emotions. Meanwhile I am now short from 1.0970 for a scalp. 50 SL. If I even get 30 pips TP I'll jump out. What a day.

NFP was too strong. Your chart is beautiful. It might still form the second shoulder and fly up next week. Let's see. Hopefully I am prepared for whatever option they bring.

Bulls should watch at 50 ma!

It can even go up to touch the broken trendline, form a right shoulder and then take a dump. Any how they play it we will follow.

Not out of the woods yet, they can take it even below 1.0700! Next week is us cpi if it comes out strong then we'll have two reasons for the selling (plus nfp). This move up was just profit taking!

It's been a crazy 1st week of 2024, first eurusd dropped below 1.0900 after the opening at Tuesday and consolidated above it after us 10 year yields discounted some of the rate cuts expected at march meeting from the fed and german cpi came out stronger than the consensus yesterday.

Also today the first reaction was selling the strong nfp numbers, but position squaring brought it back to very near 1.1000 cheering the bulls that might get trapped in their longs if, eu decides that that move up was just a correction after all - lets hope that this isn't the case for the eu yet!

It will be important to keep an eye on future data releases and policy decisions to see how the market reacts. As always, caution and risk management are key in these uncertain market conditions. It's a good idea to stay nimble and adaptable, and to be prepared for potential surprises.

It seems to me that today was a turning point on the EURUSD and DXY charts and a sustained downtrend has begun with a short-term target of 1.0820 and a long-term target of 1.0420⁦⁩

Quick H1 Outlook for Monday

1. Based on the chart below, Monday's opening candle would automatically become a breakout from the steep bearish channel.
2. If no serious bull action happens, I would anticipate scenario 1 to play out, where price would be forced back into this steep channel resulting with a drop to 1.0911 support area (red path)...
3. Right after opening, if however, the sideways breakout causes an immediate attack to 1.0947 area and price insists on staying above 1.0930 area, I would anticipate scenario 2, where price would eventually break above 1.0947 and rally towards 1.0984 area (blue path)...
4. To summarize: If you bought the final 1.0888-ish dip action on Friday, it is best to keep a bullish bias as long as we are above 1.0911 area!

EU technical is ranging between 1.0862 and 1.0998. Below 1.0960 it can continue the drop it started at Friday towards its low of 1.0875 or break, close above 1.0960 and head to the first edge of the range first - 4 hour chart.
