this also looks like a classic exhaustion gap just did some research on it and it looks similair to what im seeing on the hourly..

On which pair? Where did you obtain ur research from? Is anyone in any positions right now? If so, what and at what price?

I just did a quick search on google and from what I'm seeing it appears on my 4 hour charts too. I scrolled back on my daily charts to see if I could pick that up as well and it shows similar results. Are you thinking what I'm thinking? lol

seeing a small bounce now off the previous range, lets see where this goes.

theoretically price should now find resistance off the low of the gap around 9380, if it pushes back thru that level that wouldnt be so great if ur aiming for more gbp selling pressure, we are still far from the uk session so anything can and most likely will happen.

Did you also look at the daily chart and scroll back? I noticed in a lot of the cases it resulted in the same conclusion. Doesn't mean it will happen now though because as you mentioned, we still have the UK session coming up. Quite interesting though.

yep, but basically we will get the usual 2am shakeout most likely followed by the 3am to 4am followthru lol if nothing happens during those times then its off to the grimey ny session.. lol ;-)

Is a continuation gap the same as a measuring gap? So many freakin gaps... I never even knew they had so many terms for them all. I think the BIG boys are setting their booby traps for us haha. Becareful where you stand people

Are you comparing the IBFX feed to another feed? I actually didn't even notice that until after I read your post. My Oanda says 1.9473 or around there yet IBFX says 1.9411. That's a pretty big difference...

hadnt noticed til now.. was checking my fxsol account and seen the REAL high... looked back at IBFX and just laughed...

anyone that was long got cheated out of 50+ pips, if short you got you rneck saved( maybe)! .. LOL

I also checked price online at forex.com

damn IBFX... I really thought they were doing better lately
reminds me.. had a bad freeze friday when price took off.. price went up 40 pips before IBFX caught up.

why cant there be at least ONE perfect MT4 broker...ugh.

This seldom happens and according to experts, it happens 4 times a year. The Big boys in America choked on turkey bones and press the wrong orders over the weekend!! LOL

how long does the shake up usually last for i dont play the london session?

usually 15 minutes or so is what i think i read somewhere then it reverses?
