I'm outlining my trading strategy for the upcoming days, leading up to NFP report.
Currently, we're observing a downtrend channel, which typically offers numerous entry points as new lower lows (LLs) are formed.
Given the temporary change in trend and the duration we've been in this channel, it would be unexpected to see a retracement.
A critical aspect of this situation is our role as the 'retails', trying to understand the market players' strategies(hunters/banks). A minor upward movement breaking the channel might mislead many traders into taking long positions. I believe this is a scenario that banks might be aiming for.
Most importantly, I anticipate that the 1.075X level, which hasn't been reached yet, is crucial. My plan is to short the EUR when it reaches the boundary of the Channel, and then allocate the remaining 70% of my position at a significant resistance level located around 1.0836X. The stop loss (SL) will be set at 1.0854.
I'm eager to hear your opinions on the current market dynamics.

Not a proper bfly, in this instance, I am more interested in the extensions for a buy/add longs. 1.0795 and 1.0780 Target: 1.09 plus. The market is expecting good data to corroborate Fed's plan, so any minor deviation is going to cause massive swings. {image}

I have been waiting for the price to reach the levels marked by the red arrow since yesterday, although I was obsessively waiting for 1.0772 and did not open a position for 2 pips
