Hello all;

Have not posted here for a while. Nice to see Ata still running a good thread as usual.

The traders positioning chart Ata posted goes along with how I am positioning my long term account now. After the bottom was hammered out last month, more than 3 cents below current price, I am building a long position into eurusd, I plan to keep building until May 2024 or proven wrong (3 cent on chart or F/A input to strengthed USD/weaken EUR).

I will put on some short term short eurusd hedges at end of year to protect against the January effect but that's just insurance. Part of during business in this crazy business we have chosen to work in.

I know most active traders use lower time frames and looking at 15/60/240 min charts so not really applicable to where you are on your trading journey. This is just another tool in the workshop for you to use.

Hi... I have a question, is it worth the swap for using a 'very' long timeframe?
I tried using daily timeframe before and ended up losing due to swaps.

I was looking in 1 week and the scenario and there are more confluences in sales, around 1.07563 I will look for long swings

In a succesfull 1.0800 break 1.0764 comes next. Bears are winning the battle very strong, can't see how the bull can turn the tide yet!

You can use XM it's a licensed broker that doesn't charge swaps for euro and other major pairs and stock indices

I used to consider swap in the past if it was significant. My trading style now does not factor swap as most of my larger positions do not involve forex. But even in my forex accounts, the swap on eur/usd is very small. If I am right on direction, the interest payments don't bother me. Just a cost of doing business.

I am surprised that 1.08 held up and didn't even get touched. If this 11:00 EST 1 hr closes above the prior do you still like the 1.0780 before 1.0900 or do you think THIS is the temporary bottom?

I think if price returns down is more likely to touch 1.0782.
