I understand after cap is removed the game starts but my question is how much these traders keep buffer and would you willing to take risk of 100K profit to prop firm? I know if forex 99.99% or 100% takes all withdrawal. I think all profits shown were made in a month or two.
My question no matter how good a trader is would you keep 100K of buffer in your prop firm account to make potential million dollar which may or may not happen?

Remember and have no doubt about it - Apex is a Game and no matter how great the LURE is, even less number of traders, about only 1-2% will eventually make money with Apex.

I am interested and intrigued(thank you Cryptosurf)and may just have to put my very best efforts to do that. Making 100% a year is just not enough when you have the "Apex Game" with potential to make another 1 Mil. for about $320 to start with(20 50K accounts with 90% discount). Only in America and I love my country!

It is probably 1000% or 2000% if your account is 50K or 150K (with allowed drawdown of 2.5K or 5K times 20). Someone asked Vince (first million dollar withdrawer from apex on youtube) and he responded the was keeping 320K (means 20K*20 = 400K) as butter you need silver balls to do that, It is difficult to trust even regulated broker with such money.

Copy trading the max 20 accounts. If you make $600 per day, 22 days per month, * 20 accounts, it's about a quater million. $600 per day with a $2500 DD would be tough, however, if you build a buffer, might not be as tough.

Well, not quite $320. After you pass eval, you pay monthly $85 or lifetime $140. So add another $1700-2800. Still great R;R.

I think hard part is after building buffer trusting and keeping that buffer to prop firm and not withdrawing it is most challenging part

Yes, Agree, but you first must pass through initial 20 accounts, the road gets a bit easier after that.

I'd pull some, for sure. It's like being up big in a casino. Some have the discipline to walk or atleast pull a good chunk off and play with house money, while others (most) will sit there and give it all back.

Maybe a small buffer for a few bad days, but would never leave much on the account. Maybe 5-10k tops.

Reached the profit target on one of my 100K APEX accounts. I think it's only been 5 days so I'll have to open and close a trade for a couple of days and then wait and see if I get the email with the pay link and contract.

I decided that I'm not buying any prop firm challenges until the MFF case is resolved. Anything I make with APEX will be funneled into my FxChoice account. I might even try Forex.com again. I started with them back in 2007, then moved to Oanda but Oanda has become unbearable.

If you throw a few $22 darts at the board, one of them is likely to stick. Only traded the Micro E-mini S&P 500.

Finally getting the hang of Tradovate. One might say I'm a MasterTradovator

I don't want to sound nasty in this happy hour but let me just say that a firm is not legit just because they paid (it's a common misconception).
There's plenty of examples of scams that also paid, starting by Bespoke, for example. On the biggest scams of the last years was TPT and Funding Talent and those were two my most profitable props. I was paid many times but I never trusted them.

So, Skilled Funded Trader may have paid but behind it is still Angelo and Easton group so milk them as much as you can but be aware that behind walls there are shady people.

I think the difference between newbies and veterans as I notice. Is how they view cash. Newbies tends to view cash as having some kinda value in trading. So they start to sweat when they see just a litttle bit of profit and getting nervous since in their world view and how we are molded to view cash. It becomes stressing seeing profit and not just as numbers as veterans must do to not get overly emotional.

So someone said how can some guys not withdraw after just getting some profit. Im newbie as well but many years ago when I started this journey, I did sweat as well the moment I noticed I just had a little profit and got scared to trade normally due to that. This is why trading is 95% psychology. To rewire the mind from how we are used to use it since early in life how to view cash isnt the easiest.

Im not a fan of poker, but I can imagine those who comes from the poker field. Got some advantage there since they eventually start to view cash as just numbers veteran poker players in order to do good.
Ive noticed its bit similar in trading. The less emotions the better.

About guys interviewed online having big payouts I would always take them with a grain of salt. Unless they showed some kind of evidence they actually got those payouts. Futures prop firms might be paying out and regulated. But what does it say against "dirty marketing tricks" no laws against that. Just vital to always be on guard I noticed with the half lies especially when it comes to prop firms.

Something that would worry me if I had achieved a big chunk of money before the 3 months was if the Apex subjective consistency rules (not the 30% and 20%) will ever be enforced (I mean reducing a lot the size compared with what was usual).

We don't see claims about that in FakePilot but we also know that they had a brutal bust in the last 2 months for what I read or see somewhere.
I hope that they stay honest like until now, not inventing reasons for deducting profits. Because, being objective, this page and video is so subjective that makes Kaler from Bespoke seem a little scout boy.

yeps NO long term goal only short term MILKING THIS PROP FIRM INDUSTRY … bought 3 more myflashfunding still waiting for credentials.

aiming to close this year close to 1million funding..

get connected to company and work as their marketing person.

or just math. take 10000 different systems with no edge (players in the prop) in a simulator and find out after 2 month that some have extrem good results by total luck. big number of attendees gives extrem good results on the top - works for any game.

my risk management startegy for phase 1 risk 1% till 3% then in next trade risk 3% either pass or breakeven ( repeat)
phase 2 strict 1%….

Received payout from Topstep today. Requested 17.11.23 received email confirmation Monday 20.11.23. Challenge refund on card within 2 days. Payout profits took longer than should 6 business days excluding thanksgiving and black Friday. Anyway by now I think topstep is the most reasonable. Clear rules EOD drawdown instead intraday. When u reach daily loss no fail, trades are closed automatically in tradovate and you can continue from next day. The only pain is micro counted same as mini contracts so it's hard to use proper sizing.
