What kind of music you hear while you trade?

Sometimes my adult kids with excitement tell me there is this cool song that you gotta listen to. Phone in hand, they click the play button and the song starts playing. I see the enthusiasm in their eyes as they are about to see their father happy for their discovery.......but then....my answer is usually, yah, I remember that when it first came out and yes I heard it so many times because they played it on every radio station 100 times a day for months.
gosh I feel old.

I don't like to listen music while I do other things that requires concentration, for that matters I like to listen the tipical atmospheric youtube video of 4h rain forest, or wind, or cracking fireplace, this kind of things



recently I found that the raper andre droped a flute album and discovered that this kind of music works well for me at work, it's this album:

I don't know anything more of that genre, if we can call it that way, will have to look for because it's really appealing to me

I picked this one up from the Bootleg Series (or the Basement Tapes )
and enjoyed it more than the eventual studio album version
maybe because Bob left his dog in the room which is on the tape at around the 2m15sec mark lol


(and the gal singing with Bob is Jennifer Warnes who about 3yrs later did a full duet with Joe Cocker on "Up Where We Belong")
