Staying out till it test, breaks, retest on the side of the box.
Move is going to be violent either side. Not looking to range play this.

Would Straddle daily 1.09400 and 1.09650 just to get exposure on the vol movement.
Though my money would be to the upside.

Buying pressure is still insanely strong.

You're right, even if price stays elevated for a while, it'll eventually come back down to a pivot level, as you've observed. That's the beauty of technical analysis, it allows you to see patterns and make informed predictions. Of-course using stops is the most clever thing a new trader would do playing this game after reading this!

Sure, that is why buy the dip is relevant in the stock market, and that you compare your trading results relative to the stock market. This is based on the fundamentals, that in the long run, it's free money keep buying stocks. If you don't beat the market as a trader, the logic is you could have bought SPX and gained more, with way less work. "Free-money".

But from a tradingperspective, forex tends to retrace more, have better daily profiles (With retracements, in which you can buy and sell into, intraday) relative to the stock market, where you have like 0 daily profiles, you essentially have a strong trend. For traders, who likes to trade a daily profile or a weekly profile, have much better results in Forex, however, folks swinging for a big move, will have better success in indices and individual stocks.

You know, a strong trend is usually not the best for intraday trading, unless you breakouttrading. We forex traders like to buy a daily profile setup, with weekly profile in mind, and wait for retracements. You can't do that in stocks. They be gone at that point you look for a retracement.

My point: Forex is imo. more controlled and therefore more actionable intraday

It rised some times above the zone, but it didn't touched the umbrella - see image on quotation. Maybe its time to test for a bounce, as many traders wait and who knows that might be the area it needs to trigger a more bullish momentum so it can surpass 0960. Also watch for a bearish flip down to 0900 from the same price as it can work both ways!

I think at that time and still because of equity market is falling down (Dow is in negative) so the Euro/USD is at 1.0840 and I pray that at 10:00 am candle open will be under 1.0840 (Insha Allah).

I have a Buy @ 1.09333 with tight SL, for now buyers are defending. If this level breaks, i will look to Sell

While 1.0960 remains, natural harmonic targets based on weekly chart 1.0770-50 and 1.0665, ofc this is for those who trade htf.
This is true even if after, we go to 1.12.

Ok as usual the EU component and speakers have NO EFFECT on price action (today) so we wait for the FOMC minutes. I doubt that changes much for anyone so flatline for now....

Not much effect maybe is more correct for me as I believe that traders left their positions earlier - before officials speak waiting for the unexpected - a bigger drop and I am sure they will gather again after the FOMC to continue with their mission - rise eurusd at 1.1000. I think they are missing the fundamental reason right now so they can start with longs.
