do you use ninjatrader as ur broker or do you recomend something else ?
Three trades on MNQ today: +40 ticks, +5 ticks, +40 ticks and done for the day.

Using M1 HA and 34 ema bands on price chart and %R as the long-short bias below.

I agree that also using arrows of entry and exit would be better exemplary as by Vidvad from above or by you somewhere here. It would perfectly explain how long you are waiting to enter.

If I get a crossover signal during trading hours, I use a trailing stop and aim for a big gain. If the market is already under a signal on this chart, then I trade in the direction of that signal on the M1 and look for 40 tick take profits.

I stop trading after 2 losses or 3 trades.

I might start taking all signals between 8:30 AM and 11:30 AM NYC time at some point in the future, but I'm not going to make that change during a holiday short week such as this week is.

PA pretty much like watching paint dry, due to Thanksgiving coming up. After long wait got 2 signals for small wins. That's it for me today.

Well did not expect this today, figured a repeat of yesterday. 5 trades, 1 loss, 1 B/E and 3 wins.

I ended the day up nicely, but I way overtraded. Good set ups, mostly. But I let myself get carried away with the great volatility up and then down.
I'm up an astonishing 24% on this account (it is a small account that I set up to do a 20-day exercise similar to Mark Douglas's 20 trade exercise).

I'd post a chart showing the trades but it is so cluttered because of the way Ninjatrader marks trades it wouldn't be all that useful.

For example, this is what the opening minutes look like:

Also, that short, while profitable, really wasn't in compliance with my plan.

My point is that though this was a great day in terms of result, I really sucked in terms of following the process.

In hindsight, it would have been better for me to finish -24% instead of +25% because days like this just wire the subconscious that it is ok to break your rules. And self-discipline has forever been my problem,

Well yes my guy, the problem you are experiencing (and to all wondering) is with using renko bars and how they are generated and plotted. They are based on tick data and not time, so whichever platform you use unless you have the exact same starting time at the exact same price you will get a different looking renko chart.

Yes, interesting. It was wild after NY opening unlike the previous days.

Your chart is more like mine above here. I was online at the same time as was RP, so I had tick data.

Yes and no
Yes, the point of the Renko charts is that they aren't generated on time but movement (ticks or points). The only differences are in the provider's, online or stored data and not of starting price or connection time. I have already explained the data on the MT4 here. Maybe even on other platforms it goes to some omission of tick data in order to save storage space. I do not know exactly.
