Disliked{quote} i believe doesn’t matter right now all the prop firms are paying … just pull whatever you can get out of it before everything goes to toilet. Disliked{quote} I was actually referring to navk's reputation and that he might be a known quantity at other firms but he didn't get that interpretation either..Ignored
DislikedI'm surprised to see E8 now offering purple trading MT5. Seems a bit unusual since they currently use there own MT5 license/platform.Ignored
DislikedIf anyone is trading with retail eval props anymore make sure you are checking your close orders. I have been running analysis on multiple props testing what their server settings are and the most common thing is market orders being slipped on close with no displayed request price.Ignored

DislikedQuestion for smart people. Is there some sort of advantage for the prop firms in offering MT5 only like the 5ers and CTI? Just wondering because I find it hard to believe that their clients are screaming for Meta5 over Meta4Ignored
Dislikedexpect a flurry of cftc cases now against FX props. That could include FTMO. If I was a US trader, I would be avoiding any new accounts.Ignored

QuoteDislikedWe are located in the heart of the USA. We pride ourselves on being one of the first USA based, remote, proprietary trading firms offering funding worldwide. We have offices in Dallas, TX and Prague, theCzech Republic with a trading floor expansion planned globally.

QuoteDislikedMetaTrader 4 has not been sold to brokers for several years and is evolutionarily disappearing from the scene. We can’t force them to refuse. But most likely, we will announce his End of Life this fall, so that it becomes clear to the management that it is unreasonable to sit on a stopped platform that is 18 years old.
QuoteDislikedEnd of active support and updates.
1. The broker being used only offers MT5.
2. With MT4 being phased-out soon, it might help to mitigate PR issues by not having to explain why MT4 has been dropped all of a sudden, as well as allow the firm to avoid having to migrate accounts over to MT5 after the phase-out.
3. Offering MT5-only might be cheaper, depending on how they have things set up. Certainly, it should be easier to maintain and provide support for one platform in lieu of two.
