Had my first loss in just over 2 weeks today on an AU buy. Why did I go into an AU buy? Don't ask me...I have no idea now looking at the chart, I do know I broke several of my own rules going into it and its the first time I have taken a trade without it ticking all boxes, lesson learned I hope.

When I took the trade I had no idea price will drop like that, anyway , I'm not complaining

@pips29 - would you mind sharing your template and indicators? i just want to test using what looks like renko bars together with the TDI on a higher timeframe

Theyre not renco bars they are synergy apb bars with price bars showing as well.

Hi siboneloz, guess lynnc has helped you out. However, I am using one which has a button to turn it on and off but it's the same thing

I closed my trade by mistake earlier and waited for another entry long (current trade of which 50 % has been taken out)

Took an EJ sell this morning and tp not long ago. Set tp at 1:3.

I also took an AU sell but that came out at BE with the news this afternoon., also on the AU chart is one I took on Tueday but forgot to post.

Welcome to TMS! It is better to start looking on higher time frame like D1 H4, but try to enter on smaller timeframe if you want your stop small
For example, I like EU for a short, but am waiting for retrace before jumping in due to price is parking at a level that it can possibly bounce back up before it heads down.

EU hidden divergence short entered on M30 is done for me as price reached ADR. It might go further... who knows. Will wait to go short again if there is a setup.
