Fairly large US news day. Took 1 small win for 5 ticks got out of trade well befor 7am news releases. Then just stopped trading till PA calmed down, usually 15 mins. max, couple of mins less today. Got a good sized win after that. Back in with with trend continuation trade see what happens.

A B/E and A small loss. BTW traded MES today because its a fairly volatile news day. Will do the the same Thurday and Friday.

Started the day with 2 small losses, haven't had that happen to me in awhile. But picked up a nice sized win on trade number 3, which I closed because I was getting antsy. It was a solid uptrend but very slow moving, so after some internal debate called it quits. My patience was gone.

I remember in earlier days you used to look to the left to draw S&R type lines on your chart. Depending on where you draw them you may or may not have taken trade 1 and would not have taken trade 2. Was this keeping you out of too many trades?

Rocky, after a while of trying several approaches I came back to your older system. e.g. post #1624, March 2021.

Here are some trades of today. NZD, AUD strong, GBP weak.

Are you using W%R at 34 periods? For me thats a little long. But if you like it and it works for you go for it.

Now that I'm trading 1 instrument, that has huge volume. Plus I'm trading usually 2 contracts which is $25 per tick. So basically I'm looking to hit a few small wins(5-15 Ticks) each along with some larger wins(20+ Ticks) and only small losses(under 10 ticks). So generally looking to make around 8 trades a day. Also my trading window is 3 hours or less. In general on choppy/sideways day less likely to pay attention to that then on a trending day. Hope that makes sense.. I was drinking Tequilla with my brother in law last night.

When I trade ES I trade 2 contracts, MES 5 contracts.

I've lurking every day. Been working on the same path I've been on with you for some time now. I just find my progress is better and consistency higher when I lurk rather than post.

I'll be back, and when I am, you'll know I've really mastered myself.

No I'm not, system has evolved over time. But there is also nothing wrong about WPR. When I started thread I was trading FX looking at a bunch of different pairs. Now I'm trading solely MES and ES futures. For me I think MACD works better than WPR.

How do you use MACD as a confluence? also, are you still using parabolic sar? when i need to place a buy order, it doesnt necesarrily to be the first DOT right? coz i notice its like 3rd or 5th dot to be on the same page with the buy signal e.g (4th dot when ma will be above the 50 level of wpr)
