Pretty sure we could be looking at an ICT MMBM here, which would take us to the Buy-Side Liquidity at 1.06747 if so.

Don't get tricked when FF says US CB Consumer Confidence came out green... Nope! Consumer confidence actually declined! It is definitely red!

Fortunately for Archimedes he didn't have to deal with a war in the Middle East or my BIGGEST concern now is wage growth in the US.

Everyone on the planet knows that the FED will stand pat tomorrow but thanks to the new data rate hikes in December (won't happen) will resurface keeping a lid on EU.

Lucky him.
I bet the Fed does not like the levels of the 10 yr either despite high interest rates, that is quite a worry.

What people don't realize is this - the fate of the 10 year treasury is out of control for the FED - at the moment.

The USA has to issue lots of bonds to raise the money to give to the war efforts. Who buys the US bonds?

So if China decides to not purchase any more bonds what happens? The rate has to increase in order to entice others to buy the US debt.

China has decided to play hardball and cut off the US's bond purchases causing rates to spike. Here's the main problem with that: US regional banks are holding lots of bonds and as the rates rise the value of the bond falls and hurts the banks balance sheets - that is what caused the run on Silicon Valley Bank in March 2023.

I am actually fearful that technicals are giving way to "black swan" events in the Middle East and if we continue down this path it gets ugly....

The answer is this: QE - have the FED buy the US bonds instead of selling them.

I should tell you that I always appreciate your calls. They are frighteningly good. Cheers. Happy I banked my buys when I did. These are signs of a pair that wants to change direction. It's usually chaotic to shake out weak hands. Up is still the way for me.
