If bulls can't break above 1.0669 in coming hours or days, it is likely that we will encounter bear pressure again, which could trap candles inside the borders of croissant and force price back down to 1.0490 levels... Let's see how it goes...

The wave marking of the 4-hour chart for the Euro/Dollar instrument remains quite clear. In the last year we have seen only three-wave structures that constantly alternate with each other. Over the past months, I have regularly said that I am waiting for the instrument near the 5th figure, from where the construction of the last upward three-wave began at the time. This goal was achieved after a two-month decline. After achieving this goal, the construction of a corrective wave 2 or b, which has already taken a clear three-wave form, began as expected. None of the recent price increases looked like a full-fledged wave 2 or b. Consequently, all these were internal corrective waves in 1 or a. But the general fall of the European currency will not be completed on this, since in any case, the construction of the third wave is still required. Five internal waves are traced inside the first wave, so it is complete. There are three waves within the second wave, so it can also be completed already. But it can also take the form a-b-c-d-e. The euro currency was helped by reports from the United States, the Euro/Dollar exchange rate did not change on Friday, and during the day the instrument fell and then grew. Still, I can add Friday to the asset of the euro currency, as it managed to rise a little. Now there are real chances to build a new corrective wave e, and the entire correctional structure will receive a five-wave form. Unfortunately, it is still very difficult to count on the euro for more. Within the framework of the expected wave e, the instrument may grow to a maximum of 1.0730. Thus, it is not necessary to count on a strong growth of the euro in any case. On Friday, several interesting reports were released in America, but most of them were neutral, so it's generally difficult to understand why the market reacted so violently to these data. Personal income and expenses of the American population are not the most important report, and its values were only slightly different from market expectations. The basic index of prices for personal consumption did not differ from the forecasts at all, but it was during the release of these reports that the demand for the US currency sharply decreased. So we are talking about the reaction to these reports, and not to other events that simply did not happen at that time. A little later, a more important consumer sentiment index from the University of Michigan was released in the United States, but I repeat – it came out about an hour and a half after the dollar began to fall. However, its value turned out to be 5 points lower than expectations, so it could just cause a decrease in demand for the US currency. However, he did not call her.

Based on the analysis, I conclude that the construction of a downward set of waves continues. The targets near the 1.0463 mark are perfectly worked out, and an unsuccessful attempt to break through this mark indicated a transition to the construction of a corrective wave. A successful attempt to break through the 1.0637 mark, which corresponds to 100.0% Fibonacci, indicated the readiness of the market to complete the construction of wave 2 or b. That's why I advised sales. But they should be careful now, as wave 2 or b may take a more complex form. On the older wave scale, the wave marking of the ascending trend section has taken on an extended form, but is probably completed. We saw five upward waves, which are most likely the a-b-c-d-e structure. Next, the instrument built four three-waves: two down and two up. Now, probably, it has moved to the stage of building another descending three-wave structure, but already more extended.

For me, it's over for today's longs, as it's a ranging heaven till it is no more, for me, on intraday scale also now, high volatility exchanging hands without too big of reach from either side in between, like a good oiled machine without direction. Indecisive, choppiness, chop chop, Ranging heaven, Sideways to Hell, what have you.

Most new longs for me, from now, will probably be >0669..(if bears don't bring it back too low before, since not much buying high is allowed in my house when there is still firewood to chop), and/or <0550.

As long as 3H forming now is bear, in these mid highs of the Ranging Heaven, no more buying, just the opposite (which I can't pronounce)...

When the channel was broken i thought it might happen, but here we are... 1.063 and a little below it like 1.0613 is interesting to me now as a resistance on higher terms. BUT this is fx... who knows... what might be cooking.

PS I'm looking for short signals now for scalping and keeping the buys from 1.053
