Another question please. The supertrend indicator: Of any real use? Looks like it could lose money very quickly. I adjusted the ATR down to 1.0 with 10 candles look back. Looks like that could work. any comments please?

I have no experience of the supertrend indicator, this thread purely looks at price action at support/resistance, the tdi and divergence.

Any indicator loses money. Only you can influence the situation.

Lots of trades today I missed, but took an EA buy this morning. Put 2 trades in, the first one, 1:1 and the second holding for 1:2 but took it out early when it didn't close above the last high candle, had enough of waiting.

Went in on EA this morning a candle late really but never mind. Took half off at just over 1:1 and let the rest go to 1:2.

I'm trying a different way of managing my trades today. I am taking half off at 1:1 then moving to +1 and then letting the other half go until the candle closes a different colour. Going to see if it works out better than 1:2 with the other half or not on average.

got fed up of waiting for the target to be hit and therefore closed the remainder a short distance from it
