It depends on who is trading against, 100 pips on EU is 100 USD so if it drops 2.5 pips that's 2.5 dollars, but there many traders in the market they use different leverage and there is always the other side. Maybe you need 1 million to move one pip, but that's not accurate.

Spread might also play a big role in high momentum actions if I might say so...

Personally, I think these fast up/down are nothing but liquidity grab, for sharp up move. 1.0520 is my key level to return back to selling mode, however the price shouldn't even get the chance to close a daily bearish engulfing (at 1.0593). A re-test to current area was actually needed in my opinion plus, it's showing a beauty of PA analysis.

It's like my grandmother used to say (she was really into FX): "Place a sell and all day long everything will be swell"

I think that the 1D candle changes to close above @ 06150 ( looks far away ) we should have bullish momentum still active for tomorrow; if it's under bears just managed to vanish bulls strong yesterday candle with their magic bearish candle from today ( until this moment )... and they did it much easier and faster

We can get some support there, but it could be temporary.


Yesterday's up move doesn't have fundamental data behind it. Today we have worst PMI data for EUR and better (and above 50 lvl) PMI data for USD. Plus there is a tension on Middle East that could explode any time, so dollar should become even stronger...

Strong drops like this are often around 240 pips for EURUSD... So far only 112 pips down.. so trade and risk according to these facts..

Tried long at 1.0640 jumped out at 1.0634. Glad I did.

Look at your signature post. That is the truth: you'll succeed in the long run if you learn from your mistakes. Don't end anything mate. If you think forex isn't working, please step back from it and regain your peace. Life is bigger than forex and money. I remember when I had it really, really tough in 2017. Ata was of great help to me. I learnt fresh ideas from his charts and sent him a couple of messages, if I remember correctly. There was a time I traded only the 4hr chart out of fear and traded opposite the trend after maximum daily range had been reached. That way I almost always made profit of few pips. Suffice to say that I came out of that terrible period of trading.

Trust me, forget all the successful posts you see here; many people are simply soldering on. I have come to a place where I am very profitable. As in, very profitable. You can be profitable too. It wasn't always like that. And it doesn't mean I don't lose sometimes and even question my tactics.

Again, your life is more important than forex, or anything else. There are footballers who lose a limb. Or concert pianists who have their fingers cut off. Yet, these people soldier on without their passion or hobby. Soldier on, mate. Quit of you have to. Step back briefly if you have to, and then come back fresh and strong and well rested. I'm taking a "longer term view" - by the EOM.

The long-term trendline has been broken (black line) and we are only at the 23.6% fib level.

The ONLY thing holding EU back is DXY and that isn't the FED's fault.

I'm long and going to stay long as long as EU stays in the yellow channel.

My goal for Halloween is 1.0750.

this is coincidence. The forex market hast the only purpose to exchange money in a fast way. The main target is to ensure that banks won't lose money during daily buisness. How much and how offen orders get filled / placed... Who knows?
I know, medium business bank accounts in germany - transactions are done every 2 hours (9 o'clock... 11 o'clock and so on). I guess, real big accounts have higher frequency. Thats creating the daily framework, we are trading through.
Long story short -- No one will ever know, what's hiding behind the gaps
