I appreciate this thread.
This is a no bullshit thing.
So i will try to contribute something similar.
For this will try to carry this "one pattern" idea in mind.
I use this that i will show every trading day.
Somedays i dont have the tenacity and focus to carry it through and i start guessing about something thats not in the chart.
And often it gets me into trouble.
When i DO carry it through it works out.
For this i will be using the most recent eur/usd M5 chart from friday.
First of all i try to avoid trading after london bankers go home.
And i start 30 minutes after they get to work.
Also, i will post this in my own thread so i was going to post it there but maybe some of you guys might find it interesting.

If I wanted to use 5M what is the value of the grid?
You may have already talked about it but there are 458 pages and it will take a while.

I agree, the concept of this trading strategy is very simple, put up lines and then watch how price will react to any of them. I think if we put the lines with appropriate distance we might be able to get more juice from the price movement. I think paying attention to the ADR might also help to know how far must the distance between the lines is.
If you want to make a lot of money, go to where money is in abundance.

Folks, as usual, really nothing new here. Yet another rediscovery of what Charles Dow found. For example, how about retracement levels? (No Fibonacci numbers ae not at play here. But lots of people like to fit some "trendy" concept or name to make the "discovery" apear very important.).

Or the phases of a trend. (Expanding from 3 phases to 5 or more is just adding some nuance, not anything substantial.)

From Dow Theory, The Market has Three Movements:
The "medium swing", secondary reaction or intermediate reaction may last from ten days to three months and generally retraces from 33% to 66% of the primary price change since the previous medium swing or start of the main movement.

Dow theory asserts that major market trends are composed of three phases: an accumulation phase, a public participation (or absorption) phase, and a distribution phase.

Of course, everyone knows if you take some existing ideas and give them some new names, you can market it to the millions that you know do no independent research on the material.
