it made sense in m30 on engulf fail and entry on retest of engulf.
however usd is very strong and at the same time worry about jpy intervention.
moving 1 time frame up h1 does not show any engulf fail.

i think your post appeared late because you are new. try to post more than 5 times to avoid that.

yes. price tested the upper zone many times previously, so the zone gave way.
there were no h1 or m30 engulf buy set up.
m15 bearish engulf is not broken.
even there is a bullish engulf, price has to contend with the bearish engulf.
there is a lower zone which i think price wants to take out the low.

you wait for price to test the h4 bearish engulf.
when price touched the zone, there was a m30 bearish engulf
however it was short lived as there was also a green bullish engulf, price bounced.
later, there were 2 opportunities for short at the m30 bearish engulf.

this was a strong drop lasting 3 weeks.
to be on the cautious side, i want to see a h4 or h1 close above the engulf before looking for long set up.

look left 7august, there were h1 bullish engulfing candles.
