{quote} Doesn't feel as good....knowing if you blow the account or if a black swan event occurs, it's actually YOUR money you will have lost. I still cannot wrap my head around the few haters who pop in here saying these firms are bad for traders. Yes, the majority of the ones left certainly are, but MFF, at worst, was no worse than a "good" regulated broker.

Usually those who do not or want to adapt to the rules of Prop Firms. Then as I did, realize it wasn't the easiest to pass challenges even, most get upset start to type bad things about it online. Even if they might be scums the prop firms. Still beneficial if done properly and being careful.

{quote} The objective is not to protect consumers, it is to obtain money. I am still pissed with my TFT slippage in normal hours. I dno why it triggered me so much when I knew it was going to happen. Nothing like a good 1.5 pips of slippage on a market order on eurusd 3 lots during europe with no news.

That's the same slippage that there is on MFFX rn.

Not related with props but I thought would be interesting to share here. The people running the FTX bankruptcy are considering, somehow, to ask people for part of what they withdraw there in the last 30, 60 and 90 days before bankruptcy.

The futures prop side has way more rules across the board which makes them all less attractive. That being said, I have noticed that outside of having to navigate around the deel situation, the top 5 retail futures props have not skipped a beat since MFF... still promoting... no mass complaints of payment denials... no slippage complaints... no rushed scrabble to state virtual/simulated everywhere... no fear of impending CFTC action.

Since they work hand in hand with regulators as I understand in US. Passively or Active at least. The forex prop firms didn't and doesn't. The futures industry in US CME is no beast to play against if one got half a braincell, the market is massive. If anyone got time take a look at the buildings they made just for futures CME in US and the amount of data going through there.

But since the forex prop firms seems to be full of quick grabbing investors using teenage thug kids to promote them they dont care the investors that is. Since in end prolly worth it even if regulators in US shuts it all down for those investors behind prop firms. Its like poking a sleeping beast what they do. Shame they had to poke it so much it might ruin it for all. But thats human greed.

Just requested a crypto payout from TFT. See what happens.

I read you can only request crypto payments if your country is not allowed by wise. Not sure if that applies to you.

{quote} Curious to see if you get one of those nice automatic messages saying it was rejected and asking to chose for an alternative withdraw method. If not, be prepared to be sodomized in gas fees. Less than 5x to 7x the market gas fees it's a victory in that kingdom. Worse than them only TFF. Those should have a stealing license issued by some crypto authority.

No automated rejection email just this standard email so far. Not really worried about the gas fees. Tiny payout anyway. I imagine this will take forever.

But they have a Payout Specialist. No honor like this anywhere else, not even in a broker.

People are never happy.

(maybe they should have a Credentials Specialist as well)

The Bespoke is funny with those rules of grid. So I guess I can't: - buy 10 lots @1.20 - buy 10 lots @1.19 - buy 10 lots @1.18 (this last one makes the trade a grid trading) However I can: - sell 20 lots at 1.18 (so I'm out os position) - buy 30 fresh lots at 1.18 This is not grid anymore Commissions and slippage apart, what risk are they reducing with that grid rule if I simply do this ?

BUY 2 account, hedge the opposites

BUY 20 lots on account A
Sell 15 lots on account B [ place this 1 minute apart from the buy]
Sell 6 or 7 lots, yet again on account B, within 1 minutes from the 1st buy on B

Do not hedge exact same volume.

you cannot cheat on them with your reverse hedging strategy across accounts. You do not get a payout from them/Bespoke when you do that.

its a statement mate, not a debate
Most "retail" broker is CFD (OTC) brokers, and hold the hybrid booking A & B. As long they are not holding any payout. that is A-OKAY.

Just for fun, try asking your broker (regulated say in UK by FCA), for the ticket of your trade order. This settlement ticket show you which LPs took your order.

All retail FX brokers are OTC and all of them are majority b-book. If you check the fine print, it says so there.

Also, most LP relationships on OTC are under an NDA, so no one is going to send you a settlement ticket because the last thing any serious LP wants is retail traders calling up their support line complaining "Why did you slip me scammer"
