{quote} I don't think the older generation truly understand what youth in US is going through. So called boomers say youth is lazy while reaping the fine harvest being born in a good time then looking down at the youth. Then the boomers wonder why youth today don't respect them. Im almost boomer too but kinda aware. That said. For example welders in US now they do earn a lot those who are willing to give their life to that occupation. 100USD per hour I read was kinda common now. Its probably some exception compared to other blue collar jobs there....

well i wonder if every generation said the same thing Labu , i am a boomer the problem the youth of today thinks the world owes them while the boomers worked for it and thats a fact
the good thing about prop firms it gives traders a leg up with a account but you have to pay for it
ONE MUST LEARN, DO IT AND IT WILL BE KIND TO YOU

If you wonder...about my recent trustpilot review on Bespoke. I am promised to get from now on instead of 80% now 82.5% profit split. So that has motivated me a lot.

Great news TrAndy!

Something that would be nice to know is how did you trade with them. We know that they have the grid trading so I guess you don't open more than 2 positions in each instrument (if in a loss). It would be interesting to know what instruments did you use and how many lots. And if profits came from many small trades, many per day, or from some few swing trades opened for several days.

Just to know what they tolerate with these high payouts.

I swing traded manually so no more than 2 positons per symbol. Profits are among days and trades equally distributed. And I traded usually something about 10 lots.

which prop firms you use?
well before i get into good financial position that i can buy challenges till then i focus on current accounts and in the free time i can read the FAQ section of those prop firms because every prop firm has different rules..
like Capablanca just said that BSFUNDING has grid rules.. i don't even know what's that
similarly all the prop firms have different rules some said you cannot buy and sell in the same instrument at the same time, some say it is imp to have sl right at the beginning you open even 0.01 lot, some said that sl placed cannot be greater than 2% loss at the current time, some say you cannot trade 4 minutes before and after news.. all these different rules mess up the trader and they forget which rule they have to follow in what..

and do you copy trades or trade each account manually and individually??
and how long time you have put into this trading right from the beginning to till now??

its okay that you get 2 funded accounts with bespoke in 2 months, its not a big deal
i am asking how much experience you have in trading field when you started trading?? till now how much experience you have..
all these prop firms are not for newbies... it would be better for newbies to stay on their normal brokers first gain experience there and then enter into this..
well all these prop firms make you disciplined.. make you the person to take loss.. in personal accounts, generally traders don't want to take losses and that's why their accounts get blown, they don't follow rules there.. but in prop trading it is a must to follow rules..

all these phases1, phases2, phases3 are designed to know the consistency of the traders and their mindset
normal person who don't know anything and pass all these stages its impossible because market change every day, every week
yeah.. when this become unlimited, this is kind of relaxation to serious money management traders
otherwise with 20 days of trading it is more tough... once you get into drawdown, then first target is to bring balance to original and then re-try

The relationship between a trader and a so called prop firm is a Symbiotic relationship. Do you agree? A trader who is (or thinks is) successful, doesn't really need a prop firm other than to grow exponentially. At the same time, it is rare that a trader is allowed to be and do as he/she is capable of being successful on their own due to many constrictive limitations put upon them. So, in most likelihood, a trader has to change themselves in order to fit within the confines of a prop trader. In addition to that, the prop firms have handedly stacked...

Wise attitude. MFF is being flooded with sh*ts, "When the news breaks, everyone scrambles to get the story." To be fair there's no benevolent biz of any kinds. Rip off or not depends on the very case. If all MFF clients are ripped off, they would have been collapsed earlier.
Now the comparison is between propfirms and forex brokers: they are all ripoffs. Being new to the props, I'd just consider the safety of funds, as you risk bigger amounts with FXs but a small enough ones with props to aim for the same return. i.e under such collapes, where would you sweep more tears? Who has more tricks only heaven knows. Any ideas?

{quote} I can read their website mate. The barrier to entry is the price you pay to get a "program" from them. I can choose if I want to participate or not. If I don't want to participate thats ok, I move on to something else, if I do, everything is there written on the pretty website.

Comes down to individual risk tolerance and parameters. Then there is the old saying of "buy when there is blood on the streets".
The show ain't over until the curtain comes down. You don't stop milking the cow thinking it won't produce milk soon, you keep going until it runs dry. etc etc

Really didn't like the dirty tricks of MFF with regard to adding burden to the profitable traders and no doubt there will be more at it too but for now if they want to survive when regulation does come they will have already cleaned their act up and probably now a safe a time as any to keep going until the axe falls.......
