Gamble short 1.0731. TP 1.0660. Yesterday it was supposed to pay off but the movers held it even though US data was good. Let's hope for a dump so I can get my buys in.

H1 bullish engulfing but not at support level so I'm not taking it and now its 25min till news. buy stop and sell stop orders above/below the current price.

This is puzzling me.... ECB rate hike (much against expectation) yet we struggle and go down.
Is this ...
A) fishing for BULL stops?
B) closing of the GAP so we dont have to come back
C) Who cares about news, Technicals all day long!!!

There are many moving parts to the market. You don't get a rise with everybody being goaded into thinking some fake support existed at 1.0700 and over 66% of people buying across about 10 different platforms. The movers win most times. Even if up was the way, bulls had to be flushed first. But be careful, September for the past 6 years has been a bloody good month for the dollar. Trade smart. Enter at good spots, keep your SL, or hedge, in place and make those profits.
