Well done you are well along your journey curve now from what I see..
I am not trading this week but may do a few next week, after that I will be back in the UK on the 11th and back to work full time trading again.

back in for a few minutes so here is an update and something to think about before i go out again....

The difference between the a-e setups question is kind of stumping me... not sure i see it but the first a-e had a bms with stronger voli then a rejection of the OB but looked like it was dragged down after to create that failure. Also usdx was topping for the first a-e

if you take into consideration the usdx then that is partly correct and rest of what you said is true to a degree, but fti's a--e is misunderstood widely by most, so i saw this as a good opportunity to to show it live after the first set up failed for hopefully better understanding, being dyslexic i know i have trouble sometimes in explaining things in writing form in a way everyone can understand, this is why my journal is mainly labelled charts, i did post about this a short while ago and a good few other times but obviously not clear enough for all to understand, now with the two side by side i hope you will see what i was trying to explain, fti's chart that we all spent many times debating over about his entries will hopefully now be a little clearer as to why and how fti's entry decision was made and used as part of his MO.

Im pretty sure I understand what you are getting at now. Since CD failed to move above AB it was considered a failed pullback and at least a test below A was expected. Would you consider the second a-e a better signal for entry since cd moved above ab?

I think you explain yourself well and the charts are a great help. I know you leave answers out because its better to think through things. there's a lot of info being presented here and I have found that each piece needs time reflecting on and experience in the market before moving on for it to sink in otherwise it is shelved in the mind.


EDIT: I have recently gone back through your thread from page 65 and recently started creating a list of things you look for so I can spend ample time reflecting/observing on each thing so it sinks in and becomes automatic. I find that is helping greatly. the list is 50+ items and growing

you nailed it my friend, welcome to the club that few understand and those that do keep it themselves, because they get lost in the noise anywhere else but their own threads, the rate at which you are learning these things is really good and you seem to be executing well, with time and practice as you say it will just be an automatic response that see can see way before it happens and help stay on that wave until near the end, the world is full of possibilities and probabilities, we just need,.. well some call it luck but those who can recognise where preparation meets opportunity make their own luck happen in this world. = + =

high risk for sure. havent done much with it yet. just trying to grab some pips before my daylight is over. just been sitting on my hands mostly today. wont force it. thank you for these charts. lots to think about

sometimes no trade is the best trade, there is no-one but yourself to compete with, so trade your way and be proud of it when you make it all work for you my friend.

thought i should document the process in full as answered my question. of course this is my understanding of it only. other may have a different way of understanding it and there view, as fti says there is no right or wrong way to trade so long as you make a constituent profits is all that matters.
