I agree it's tough but you can make money trading patterns, the market is random you'll find your trend and everything will go fine

This H4 close suggest deeper retracement.
1.0950 is the level I am looking at.

I agree with pedro319 on this. There are a few reasons like pedro319 just suggested. the "50" and "100" levels tend to gather support/resistance though I don't trade to them. If you look at the candles however in the green box, you can see the trend often stops at this level meaning it is a support / resistance structure and the trend has a reasonable chance of turning at this point. Put together with the Fibonacci on the current trend and it becomes a powerful tool.

The reason for the 1.10 was the 61.8, once that is broken I expect the 2 extensions to be hit, mainly when there is momentum.
If we break 1.0950 than is 1.0931, previous support.
After that 1.0880 and 60 where I will be buying heavy.

what a roller coaster! I have to probably update my chart with a few new lines tomorrow after market close but yea also have 0950 as support level. To me which is quite similiar to 1040 level just before the news. All depends on if we can close below to open further room down.

i have set a sell limit @ 1044 before the news and sl above 1070. Phew that spike didnt take my sl. Have closed some near 0980 and will hold the remaining fod a bit longer

  1. Price seems to be locked in for ranging between my GREEN wma line and basic trendline: 1.0948
  2. Tomorrow we shall see where London opens and proceed from there...

Imo be wary of anything under 1.9. There is a around a 220 day TL (start 26.9.22) that would be broken at this level. It would no doubt be a false BO to start with but even that may strangle the bulls. It is likely why we broke the 4hr TL today because the bears aren't ready for that obstacle. This topside could in fact be a FO for a windup to break the that lower TL. All technically speaking obviously.

Anyway I'm off for the night .

My thoughts. If we break the high of CPI gonna be looking to sell it there as well. 100% bearish for me.

you should check out the ETP-4 pattern. my newest favorite to trade! used it? similar to what you drew but measures based time and price.

I think bulls are dead. Couldn't hold 1.1030, couldn't hold 1.1000. These bulls are useless. I am quite sure if majority of us expected a good correction downwards price would be marching to 1.1100 without remorse. Hehehe
