eurusd-thijs, I see that this EA uses both MACD and RSI. This thread does not support the use of such indicators. Could you stick to just MAs? The purpose of the thread, made clear in several posts, is to use only MAs and for us to become better at doing that.

Here is a trade I placed late yesterday on AUDNZD. It has moved very slowly and is now undergoing a pullback. The TP is at 69 pips based on price structure.

Here is another trade I placed yesterday, also NZD but in the opposite direction. I stuck with it because if the PA says it is going down (short NZD) as opposed to AUDNZD going down (long NZD) then it is, and it has. Now at B/E.

I have been waiting for GBPUSD H4 to go down some more so that I am sure it is not just a D1 pullback. It has broken through the D1 trend line now and so I entered after that local pullback/consolidation.

I placed this USDCHF trade this morning too. Seems like USD is bullish across the board. But don't take this as a signal to trade USD long. Trust the system and trade what you see on your charts, not what somebody says should be happening.

Same, I see little resistance till 0,8820, already at BE now ...

We have breakout!

This is what usually happens after a period of consolidation, whether that consolidation is a short, local one or days- or weeks-long one. And, while we don't want to get caught in a period when price goes nowhere, so too must we welcome such times because we can benefit from the breakout. I got caught up in one H4 pullback bar, but luckily, it didn't last long.

Indeed, and the ideal place to sell would have been just below the consolidation area I marked on your chart. I haven't checked the trend direction on the HTF, so I assume you did!

A general request to all who post charts here - please could you mention which instrument / currency pair it is, and also which timeframe, either in your text or on the chart itself.

I placed this NZDJPY trade earlier today and it caught the breakout nicely, although a pulback is currently underway. I'm hoping (expecting?) that the pullback bar will bump its head against the support / now resistance level and go back down again.

It just shows again that the simple routine we should follow is to wait for the MA crossover, confirm that the trend is in place (check the HTF), wait for some kind of consolidation to form and then place a stop order just below/above the consolidation. That's all we need to do, again and again. And of course be sure to go through the safety checklist I posted near the beginning of this thread. That is a must and an always.

I have marked up this chart with the above routine. D1 is down. We could have entered below either of the two consolidations shown (maybe not the first one if the MA crossover had not yet happened). Both of them produced a breakout, the first one lasting 95 pips, the second 52 pips. This is perfect because it quickly gets us clear of the danger zone (above the entry level) and if you move to B/E at 50 pips, which I do, both trades would have been safe. Now we have a possible third consolidation forming.

This possible EURUSD trade is very similar to the GBPUSD one I posted about yesterday. Price has broken below the daily trend line and on H4 our favourite chart pattern is forming. Now for the breakout? Can anyone see any problems with this trade?

For sure, so I actually entered at the dotted line just on that support line, still in the trade. I definitely chased a bit, but that's the furthest I'll chase. I def see the proper/prime entry is a bit further up on the bottom body of that last bull candle.

Sorry for not mentioning it's 4hr. I just assumed that was assumed lol.
