You have to monitor 1.1160-78 area, this is why I am hedging there, if ECB is hawkish we might get continuation up and breaking that level even by 20 pips will mean just that we are going much higher.

FED was hawkish as well with sustained rates till 2025 yet dollar is not reflecting this….seems buying euro and you will always be right eventually

I am actually only concerned with the technicals, whatever happens I want to keep my longs in case we break 1.1160-78 and be short from there in case of a 200 pips sell off. The rethoric might not please investors anyway.

My plan is exactly the same. I closed most of my buys at 1.11090 & expected a strong level to come back (yesterday's dollar news did not show a strong breakout), but it broke easily. I will have 2 sales at 50 and 61.8 Fibonacci levels. I will hedge at the next level.
However, I don't think the euro is strong enough to go to the levels of 1.13-1.14.
It will be known in a few hours

Thanks for the compliments, I have been doing the same thing for a while.
I do agree that price does not show characteristic of continuation but there has been similar situations where it changes abruptly.
My initial plan was aiming at 1.14 minimum 1.12, but right now 1.1160-78 is the minimum, breaking of which could see at least retest of previous highs.

Based on 15M; I left a buy order at 1.1102 for the retracement.
-If it continues to rise without a pullback, I will cancel the buy order and wait for the price to calm down.-
