What is the consensus for this? As I have seen - 650m and -500m consensus figures. Either way it usually moves 20+pips.

Quoting Luke_PDislikedDo you think a straddle with 5 pips each side & a 5 pip trailing stop is too tight?Ignored
Quoting HoodRatDislikeddrcole1,
Is there a website listing historical reactions to specific economic news? Where did you get the info you posted? Thanks.Ignored
Quoting forexrulesDislikedFor those of you who are straddling this at ~5 pips above and below, what are you allowing for the broker spread on top of that, if any? My broker (IBFX) has a 5 pip spread under normal conditions.Ignored
Quoting hunter101DislikedBe wary of the spread. The kiwi, with many brokers, has 5-pip spread. So if you straddle, know how this moves and understand it. If you dont, there might be slippage, bad fills ect. Know how to deal with the Kiwi, and have your set ups to your best ability. Dont expect this to move much, get in and get out. Dont be greedy, knowledge of news trading. With MBT, the spread for kiwi has reached 20 pips one time for me, so becareful.
With that said, i would rather do market orders than straddling for the kiwi. All depends who is your broker and how they deal with news (most do not like news traders). Use your head on this one, and with every economic news that comes out. News trading is easy and Very hard.Ignored
Quoting drcole1Dislikedyour straddle is not bad (I personally don't go closer than 10)
