I believe you are exactly correct. No change for anyone other than those who pass through retake and/or extension. The advantadge on the retake is not having to start from scratch, although the extension accomplishes the same thing.

Why is no one reacting more to the 50% slash of leverage for indices with MFF. This is a wild theory. But the unlimited time period might all be planned as an excuse for the prop firms to put higher entry demands like fees and the lower leverage on indices, next up credit background checks to see if you are eligible to sign up with them. To comply with future regulations even more. Do not ever trust what you see in front of you, thats what ive learned.

Drawdown and profit targets aren't the best and they only have meta5 so not for me but a very reputable company that I've used in the past. They're celebrating 5 years in the prop space. Never heard a complaint about them. Anyways if it floats your boat they have a 25% birthday discount.

Here's how you know it won't make a difference..........
1. The % of folks that pass both phases and blow the account before ever getting a payout
2. The number of traders who reach 3, 4 or more payouts

Rememebr, there are NO TIME LIMITS on the funded accounts and yet 99% don't hold on to them.

It's the same issue folks have blowing up their personal accounts.....risk management and lack thereof.

I think I never considered them because of the max capital at 100K. But I'm doing 5ers, so why not joining them ?
So, they are reliable ? And any special/strange rules ? (I'm talking about 2 phase challenges)

No I have no link to the 5% percenters or FTP - I simply think they are also great and will continue to promote them BOTH here and any additional props I come across that seem worthy of consideration.
I will keep posting when I feel it necessary to do so. Your little gang are not the only people who read this thread and I am sure they can make up their minds by a little research. If one or the other suits their needs then good. If not I am sure they can research other firms posted here by people who deem them worthy of consideration.

I want to give my opinion with the rule change in FTMO, UNLIMITED TRADING PERIOD, this is positive for you as a company but bad for traders, it is a commercial strategy, that traders will realize, is better Free retakes and one free extension , then you're going to agree with me.
Do you want me to explain why?

It's fine to come with alternatives. And if we tested them, it's even better. It's quite good to have other peoples experiences here, first hand pros and cons.

However, any time you will speak about FT+ you will get the same answer: trailing DD. This (for me personally) is an exclusion factor.

For 5 ers, as I said, I'm testing them. I don't like the 100K cap, specially because I don't use copiers and do all manually, but I decided to add those 100K because they seem a decent company to me. Maybe one day they will increase it and I'm already on board.

Is it just me or people need to thank bespoke, I think they made the hype of no time limit now firms are copying.
I was here for the FTMO update. Still no time to help a lot.

If I remember well it was them and MFFx.

Anyway, Bespoke had a chance of growing with that hype and build a reputation in the industry but they completely failed.

Agreed but most of those traders don't need prop firms
My personal opinion this feature is more leveraged towards prop firms as price will increase under illusion of every trader will take unlimited time.

I think prop firm should have unlimited time as ADD ONS and see how those who advocates UNLIMITED TIMES (even though we have extensions and retakes) pay the price

Please enlighten us as to how time limits are better than no time limits? I can't wait to hear your explanation.
It looks like FTMO and MyFF has removed ONLY marketing thing from new born prop firms. It will be interesting how new prop firms react

From traders sole perspective, people will be either better or at least the same than before. So unlimited is never worse than no limit.

To find disadvantages we have to consider that this may lead to price increase (announced by TFT and MFF) or profitability / safety of smaller props.

But from traders (sole trading perspective) there is absolutely no disadvantage IMO.
