IMO all the FAMOUS PATTERNS are just a RETAIL TRAPS.
Market can ONLY move UP or DOWN, so why make it more complicated than it already is?

Meanwhile, on H4...

Today, all I care is the 1.0885 resistance area on H4.... As long as H4 candles open below it, bears have the upper hand.

BUT: data and time can eventually cause a breakout from yellow ellipse area. Both sides have to be careful once that happens and especially during data release hours!

A 0.25% rise from the fed must be fully priced in which is not yet, so there is some more bearish room for EU, unless numbers change dramatically!

Resistance and support areas are not linear all the time.. Sometimes the invisible barrier can be curved too.. That's why I use ellipses or circles. But logic wise it is the same as any other S/R area... The edge (ie. the rim) of the ellipse helps me to see where pressure will mostly show its effect..
