Look, it's almost 500 pips to the UPSIDE. If you look at the last 6 months range - it's about 600 pips range. Even if Eur will go there, for the MOST traders here, it doesn't matter, because they trade SMALLER TF's. And while EUR is going there on the smaller TF's you can trade BOTH DIRECTIONS.

Just look for example on the DAILY. The move can be like this and you can see how many DOWN DAYS you have that you can EASY trade as well. Just an example but I'm sure that you get the point.

Daily chart: no clear sign halting the upside.

I till accumulating long possitions as long as below 1.0920. Challenge at 1.0950, target 1.1000
Split small size for each to save bullets.

My higher timeframe scenario says, while above 1.0800 EU can travel first to 1.1100 and for second target to 1.1300.

300 are many pips, I prefer to trade on retraces and use smaller stop loss 50/100 pips in this case, so I can get a better risk to reward ratio.
Also you can sell below 1.0800 and make money from bearish positions too!

Hello mate, and welcome !

Without additional information about the recommendation, I find it futile to have any opinion about it.

But going in this blindly can still bring about some interesting and sometimes useful observations.

I invite you to zoom out of your daily chart, to at least see the year 2020.

One can see the many hurdles to get through to 1.1370, but also to 1.0620.

As well as the more recent 1.062 visits,
and the simple fact that 0620 is closer,
and that this upmove is stalling right under the end of 2021 lows, the breaking of which brought price down another 13000+points.

Hope it helps mate, and again, I want to wish you and every other newcomer the warmest of welcomes to this great positive/happy chemicals pips inducing family of a thread !

My Quick Thoughts for Tuesday

  1. As you can see, we are still inside a bullish channel and currently watching the retest of its median line!
  2. If bulls can keep price near or above 1.0922 (I would tolerate bears until 1.0895) there is a chance this could eventually continue higher for a retest of 1.0963 area... Bulls need momentum to break above it to then reach 1.1010 area..
  3. However, if bulls fail to protect the mentioned median line, bears will probably target the lower edge of channel: 1.0840 area...
  4. Now, all that said, just by looking at wave structure, we could guess that we are currently dealing with a wave 4 of this bullish corrective movement and that wave 5 is still missing! Meaning we must beware of bulls.
