Hello Ata. Can you tell me why you don't use SL? I don't know if it has been explained before, I haven't been following the subject for a while. Was this included in the plan?

Not using stops can be dangerous. I always have a mental stop on my mind and apply it whenever necessary. Sometimes by closing the order in loss or sometimes by hedging it, doesn't matter which way one chooses. What matters is that we must have a stop in our minds before every entry!

I hope it explains..

Thanks for explaining, but why to hedge a position if you know it's continuing is a loss? why not close it and opening in the other direction?

When you manage other people's money some people (who have a lot of money) just won't understand that hedging is equal to closing a trade. For them as long as your trading history is green they will try to invest in your skills just because of that. That's why many traders will choose to hide their losses with hedging. Unfortunately that's the only way to attract some of these rich investors. Sad but true!
