I mean hawkish is already predicted, for more than week now, on bloomberg the reporter was saying that "super super super hawkish no hike this time" and the USD went down, meaning only time will tell, cos Powell's speech was predicted hawkish.

Out 1.08440 we can call it a day. It will be crazy if it took out the day high.

If market fails here it would look like bulls capitulation, meaning resuming the downtrend to 1.05.
If bulls are in charge market should proceed to the targets now that retracement is done.

I think they have already capitulated. I m back short 1.08400, especially since I can hold overnight and get the carry interest.

I do not see a short. Today is triple swap and yet price was bought. 1.09 will happen shortly. This is my 1 cent. Powell said "do not call June pause a skip", which means they may not raise again. Now reality may be different but he just nailed dollar bulls there.

I feel lucky the market turned short since 1.833 and 1.855... My stop was at 1.0875... but it was way too expensive... almost 5%.
I need to stop looking at my expectations and play the hand I'm delt. If I had reversed, I would have made more than bail and be happy with 1%
.
I think the down trend will finish up, but probably not without another short term high.
I am not long or short, but thankful

The only number I have on my mind is 1.09250 to dump my longs. It's been a profitable week so far buying the dips as I advised earlier.
1.09250 zone is a very strong resistance and it's also 3rd weekly resistance which I think will pause bulls for the meantime till next week.
It's also a critical zone and a decision level. It was the high of some months back.
Risk comes from not knowing what to do

Good day, EU dropped very near 0800 after a hawkish meeting from the fed (raised the median dot to 5.60%), a break of the last opens the road for 0770/40/25 the market is ranging yet and can reach well above 0865 at 0900/50 but we must wait for the ECB and a hawkish message from Lagarde.
