Volume

Does anyone know how reliable the volume data is with FXDD?

I've always thought there was no way of getting volume data in forex but FXDD supply it and I just wondered how representative it was of actual volume.

That's not the actual volume. The ind. simply counts ticks so it shows tick volume if you know what i mean.

Aha - tick volume: I always wondered what it meant.

So, if it's limited to the broker, it's probably not very representative at all.

E Signal claim to deliver forex data with tick volume that IS representative of the industry as a whole; but it costs a lot and maybe their claim is spurious.
