I have no open position on AUD/USD at present.
Price has been going sideways for 7 weeks.

I have no idea what market reaction will be on 2nd May. Nor do I care.
Until it reaches one of my key levels I will continue to watch and wait.

AUD/USD (4H) is now at the resistance area + Price Action at the 0.618 Fib level. The overall trend remains bearish: soon we may see its continuation to the 0.65 support zone

1 hour chart showing that it right up against the descending trendline which has the pivot high Feb 17 and again on April 14th.

Well there was a conclusive breakout on the 1-hour chart - good for 100 pips.
I'd expect it to consolidate here until the inflation numbers on Wednesday and Thursday

The currency pair trades within the price range of the daily time frame.

Above H4 has reached the resistance level.

Stop loss at 0.6815

Target 0.6735

Bias is down to 0.6700 level first

AUD/USD formed a reversal setup near the important 0.68 resistance area. Then the price broke through the ascending trend line and formed a lower low.
Potential short trade: after the correction back to the 0.675 resistance: a trend line retest and a lower high are expected

Consolidating here - I expect it to retrace up to 0.6720-30ish area at a minimum
