hello rockypoint. I have been a silent follower of you thread for a while now and I want to say thank you for the knowledge that you have given. over the years as I learn something new about forex trading, i go back to the chart to aplly what ive learned and every time i see charts in a new perspective. After constantly studying your charts I can see the repetition of how you are trading and the setups are various but the same. I am inspired by you .

and I have a question. how do I choose between using trendlines and regular support and resistance lines like in a situation as this picture?

Well that is definitely an area of consilidation and I would be inclined to go with support and resistance and wait for a break out.

Another slow moving PA day so far 2 trades shorts on Euro and Chf(which I almost never trade) but today I liked the chart.

Long on both Euro and Chf both stops at B/E.

3 trades. 1 long on Euro and 2 longs on Chf. Think that might do it for the day. We'll see.

I have been following your thread for some time and managed to get a TOS account. Really appreciate you teaching/sharing your trading.
I have been playing with the charts and kind of struggling to get the price chart same as yours.

If you don't mind, would you please share the TOS template?

With ToS you won't be able to use the Renko bars with the Heikin Ashi applied.

The ToS is best for the original rocky system found in the first half of this thread.

To trade the renko with Heikin Ashi, you will need Ninjatrader or MT4.

rocky and I both use Ninjatrader so we can trade futures instead of spot forex.
