I have been aware that this NZDUSD pair has been looking messy on the daily and have been waiting for it to move out of that area, which it seems to be doing. I placed the trade using that big pullback on H4.

Disliked{quote} On yesterday's GBPUSD trade the SL was moved to B/E at 50 pips and that's where it got stopped out. Nothing gained, nothing lost. Today (USDCAD): I was aware of the consolidation area marked in blue and placed a buy stop order just above it. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Nice trade, do you consider this fits in your MA crossover strategy? The uptrend has been going on for quite a while, I have also been watching this but I did not see the opportunity. What makes you decide to step in?Ignored
DislikedI find the 100 EMA very helpful for being sure about the trend. I prefer to wait until everything (i.e. price bars and the 8 and 21 EMAs) has moved to one side of the 100 EMA or the other.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi yanah , Long according to the rules? Or potential shorts next few days after MA crosses down?Ignored
Disliked{quote} Possibly short them within the next few days or next week. Or they could be potential continuation trades.Ignored

Disliked{quote} This pair is neither up nor down at the moment according to the way I am currently trading with 100 EMA included, which is more-or-less what yanah12 is saying too - either or. {quote} On H4 I have the 8 and 21 EMAs crossed down, but nothing has gone below the 100 EMA yet, so I'm on the fence on H4. D1 has all three EMAs very close, and in the last few weeks we have had a lower high and a higher low- also on the fence. So we have to wait until price structure shows us what to do. Either or.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thank you, that's very helpful. Question, how would you guys treat inside bars? EJ for instance on daily inside bar yesterday, closed green. 4H shows retracement to MAs and MAs are all above 100 (4H & Daily)Ignored
DislikedDid 1.5% yesterday thanks to your system @AlistairC - much appreciated sir. Cheers.Ignored
Disliked{quote} It seems to me this trade has been stopped out? Can you elaborate on what made you decide to start the trade and what was the mistake?Ignored
Disliked{quote} Stop should have been below 1974 according to Yanah's screenshot, so should still be in running. My 2c, even if trade stops out, won't call it a mistake by any means, this method has good probability, but markets are random, can't expect each and every trade to win. Hindsight now after trade entry gold has continued to chop around, but it was a valid trade to take in my opinion of how i understand Yanah takes trades.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Well done! I did well yesterday too. I think it's as much to do with conditions suiting this method as anything to do with how clever we are. The problem is, though, that after a good day we feel strong and powerful and so the next day is a dangerous one. Stick to the method and be cautious.Ignored
