No more wasting time. You've had the system for almost a week now and that's more than ample to have tested it, so tell us all what is it like? Are you keeping all the profits to yourself? Is it too complicated? Or is it just not as good as advertised? Come on, Betchad! Say something!!!

Ian,

I am not wasting anybody's time or playing games. I just have nothing to report. The fact is that Ryan hasn't shared anything with me and that's entirely his choice. He's not obligated to send me anything. Obviously, I'd like to have had the chance to try his system - that's why I answered his public questions after all - but I'm not going to beg the guy if he doesn't want to do it.

All I ask in turn is that you stop asking me the same question. Believe me, if/when I get the opportunity to test it then I'll be more than happy to inform everyone here how wonderful or terrible it is.

Sorry my friend, I was very busy these days and just saw your pm today. I'll share my indi with you soon.

BTW,
As you know I have created telegram bot, it prints current market imbalance for whole market and for assets

Question:

1. Do you need same in discord?

2. Do you need screenshots of the chart and the imbalance chart when >200% for example?

I can automate making screenshots and send them also for better understanding the market condition like this

Hi Ryan,

I just sent you a private message with my Discord details. I currently don't have a Telegram account, but would it be preferable for you if I was there rather than Discord? I will sign up to Telegram if it makes your life easier. You're the one being generous, so I want to do what is best for you.

As for your second question, I don't need them, but visually speaking they are very helpful...

Thank you and best wishes!

For me visual representation is very important.

BTW, the rules for entry are:

if trend is short and >200% imbalance found go LONG

if trend is long and >200% imbalance found OR close long, or start building short position.

And opposite for shorts.

There is very strange thing about timezone. My server is in Singapore. But I'm recording data from bybit in UTC 0.
But, I have to add 8 hours to charts to see MY (+2 UTC) data. We checked with guys in discord chat seems delta imbalance charts are good.
But I think that chart on main page show incorrect time. I'll fix it.
Please check https://aadresearch.xyz/delta.php if it show correct time for you?

How imbalance of trades can be calculated using orderbook?
You are calculating limit orders balances/imbalances, not trades

Yes this is a measure of pressure. But how you can see volume trades in real -time by API?

Yes, this is like "pressure", liquidity density.
To have real-time trades you can connect to websockets and get your data. Then you can see how many buys were and how many sells.
That will be imbalance.
What you have is important for exit purpose. I call it "wall detection". Like for example if you are in profit and hit the wall that mean that in most cases price will not go and bounce. So if you met the wall just exit you trade and forget. No need to wait the wall to be eaten (or not).
To check how to get your trades data you can try my code: https://github.com/ryu878/Bybit-Trades-Data-Saver-Redis
It is just an example how to connect to websockets and how to save data to (in this case) redis database. You can use any you like I just use redis because it is in-memory and very fast. No single trade missed then. If you want to use traditional database like mysql or postgre remember that the "thin" area is you SSD here (file system).

While it's only been a few days since I've been in possession of Ryan's indicators, I want everyone to know that he is the real deal and what he has provided me has already been able to refine my own order flow based approach nicely. In fact, if not for pride and sheer laziness I should probably drop my own ideas entirely and just use his. I'm too stubborn however and as much as he hates forex, I hate crypto, so I will be continuing to apply it to my own market... even if it is better suited elsewhere.

His attitude here on Forex Factory may p*ss people off a lot of the time (something I can relate to as I can also be an *ssh*le of humongous proportions), but don't let it fool you. At the end of the day we're all here to make money and he's one of very, very few people on this site that I can trust is a real - and profitable - trader. Such people are rare, so to all people reading this, try to absorb as much as you can from him before he realises that this forum is not worth the effort and he leaves.

Although it is wrong to tar everyone and everything with the same brush, the reality is that for the most part, Forex factory is really just a place for newbies and losers. By and large, truly profitable traders have better things to do than to waste their precious time on discussion forums. Clearly there are exceptions to the rule, but think about it critically for yourselves. Put yourself for a moment in the position that you currently fantasise about. Imagine that you've made a lot of money trading the markets. Unless your psychological profile is such that you crave praise and attention, wouldn't you rather be out there living the life that got you started on this journey in the first place, or would you rather spend all hours of the day typing to strangers on the internet?

I've alluded to it on several occasions and will say it once again here; I've been trading the news for almost 20 years. It's a strategy that makes logical sense, worked, and made me a lot of lovely money. It hasn't been easy, because truly profitable strategies open up a whole different set of problems for you, but that's a different discussion altogether. The point is that while I am a 'trading veteran', if you look at my bio page here on FF then you'll see I've made about 20 comments in total throughout the years. Yes, I've lurked now and again and yes, I've read/watched/studied numerous other systems/courses/methods, etc, but I did this for the sole purpose of having a back up plan and it's only since the scamdemic that news trading has ceased to be as rewarding that I've crawled out of the woodwork to look more in earnest. That's why I can tell you with a degree of authority that Ryan's (and Rick) a legitimate trader. The death knell to profitable strategies is having too many people using them, so my advice is to learn from him while you can and to form smaller, closed groups away from FF where you can perfect your ideas and make them work for yourselves.

Make money for yourself NOW. You can always come back later on in life and be altruistic. Don't make the mistake of being that way from the start. Trading is not about altruism or social work. For you to win someone else must lose and vice versa. Despite the common myths that are perpetuated, when a real market edge presents itself, liquidity at that moment is a limited commodity. You have to grab it before the other fellow. That can't be done if there are 1,000,000 other guys all trying to jump in at the same time. You need to be faster, smarter and better.

As I've been able to get what I wanted from Ryan I too will be retreating from FF for awhile and heeding my own advice.

Good luck to all!

The purpose of that thread was to find like minded people. And they were found. So in fact this thread is not needed anymore.

{quote} Sorry I didn't get what you asking me about? Store your keys in the safe place. Or use hard wallet like Ledger Nano. Anyway I never said that anyone must go and trade crypto. I just said why I'm trading crypto: because min lot size is 0.5$ not 100$, because distnace is 0.5%, not 0.05%, because there are no "if you deposited 100$ you can wd 100$" and "wait 3 business days" and "wd only on bank account you have deposited from" and because there are no weekends and because there are no sessions and because there are free volume data.
