that trend line was going to be hard to break, the dip to your target was caused by major impact news which is why it reversed so quickly - maybe watch it a bit more to try and get something out of it if it is still a free trade, ema200 is providing protection on the 1H chart and you can target a smaller dip - good luck!

i anticipated a break of previous support via a break of ema200 but not much more after that in the short term

Nice. I go for trend, lots of mini losses but some great wins. PS, i dont usually trade BTC, im just home alone tonight and thought it would be fun, so not a pro. Just adapting my day trading skills to see what happens

Thanks for the chart. So with my EMA rejection strategy I try not to think too much. It's like wearing a different thinking cap for each strategy. The trades I post here are very different to my scalping trades as well. The point here is that not every week will be good for every strategy but with a few different strategies, there will always be good weeks on one strategy or the other. Just need to have different accounts for each strat. The EMA rejection is a long term strategy that takes VERY little time to trade.

So on this one I just look for EMA rejection on higher time frame with a nice strong trend and I enter. I had a pending order and was hoping for a pullback overnight from Asia but it just continued dropping right away.

yes i do BTC is crazy! i'd struggle to handle a live drawdown with it so i just use it for practice like you

for this one, i opened a long and short in middle of range with targets on either end, once one target was hit, the short in this case, i then cost averaged the long and lifted the target outside the range
