M1 Countertrend Scalping Strategy

Today’s trades. I only traded Monday and Today.. still taking care of domestic affairs. But shows you it’s still possible! This was all done on an iPhone with a VPS (to check cpfleger template)

April 6th I’ll take a nice withdrawal. So… as cpfleger says master the process!! You don’t need SMC to trade it successfully but it helps to filter and avoid long trends in my 2 years of experience trading KOF style.

I’m done for this week.

My trades from the last 2 1/2 weeks.

No one is perfect. Losses are imminent. Some losses are due to cost averaging, where most of my trades are in profit but some are not; overall, either BE or in profit. Some losses are from me trying to catch a trend and exiting when I see the price crossing the 200 EMA. The goal is to be consistently profitable. I did get caught in a few trends but managed it well. I have a decent appetite for drawdown, though they were not extreme. What I find useful in those situations is going to the 5 min, sometimes 15 or 1 hour, and marking those levels (turning points/extreme highs or lows) in the market and anticipating a major reaction in those areas. The majority of the time, the price reverses at those levels. I don't jump in any trade, most of my trades, I trade at a level in the market where the price reacted before.
Don't try to get rich quickly, build your tolerance and slowly level up. I will increase my lot size to .02 soon, maybe next month or the month after.
Trading is a process, master it.

Good to hear your wife is on the improve. I've heard mixed reports regards Eightcap but happy to hear your experience has been a positive one. I'll take a challenge with tft, as you're happy . Prop I'm with is still slipping me beyond what I consider "reasonable".

You have made your mind up, so let it go. The strat is viable.

Boy, you guys are awesome.

I've been into forex trading back in 2006 and I was blown away during the 2008 crisis. To never look into it anymore.

Just recently, I decided to have a look into it (man, we were trading cable at the 2,00 level in those days).

And this strategy plus the KoF videos are helping a lot.

Been very careful (VERY CAREFUL) these days, and making 100% winning trades as I go on getting to know the aspects of this strategy.

Like, today, I was caught up shorting USDCAD but I trusted the system and ended up in the green (the averages! the averages!!!!).

Back in the day I would have swallowed a bitter loss.

Anyways, thanks for your inputs here. Long way to go for me here, but I'm confident now trading by instruments instead of flying visual.

I got into the market for the last time this week. I liked the rhythm and liquidity movement. Wanted to make it a goal $20k for the week.. and well I made it.

Made the gif to show I cut some losses early. The reasons behind it:

1 ) USDCHF broke my 1 hr order block. So I cut with a small loss.

2 ) EURUSD broke my 4 hour zone I marked out.. it was a bit higher than 1.0920 but dropped right after hitting this area. Again, it’s OK! I cut my loss and moved on. I was strict on where my zone was.

3 ) USDCAD same here. I mapped out a 4 hour order block zone at 1.3565/1.3550 it broke my level and I let my trade go.

in the end I was profitable! Zero emotions involved. No revenge trades etc. I’m not perfect either, but still at the end of the day/week I’m in profit. Just wanted to leave my reasons to help you understand my psychology.

Can you do $20k a week from an iPhone with this strategy?
