MFF has been announcing for nearly half a year, now, that Ctrader will be available during the first quarter of 2023.

There’s now only 3 weeks left of the first quarter of 2023, so would I be right in thinking that you must by now have a date when it will be available?

You know from here, from other forums, and from emails and chat messages to your support team that you have potential customers waiting for it, who at the moment are forced to use your competitor FTMO instead, and you must surely want to do business with those people?

Do you at last know roughly when it will be available, please, even if you can’t give a positive date that’s written in stone?

C-trader is being implemented only in our new dashboard, it is dependent on the new dashboard release exclusively. It is the second stage of the release. We understand there might be some delays but its quite a big project. So once the new dashboard is launched it should be a week or two after that.

We are currently testing the bugs and errors on the new dashboard before releasing it. We are fixing them as they appear to give our customers a good service. However, there were some bugs that we didn't expect and they are currently being fixed. We will update everyone at the middle of this month about Ctrader and our new dashboard.

Knowing how to trade first is key , then money will come not money first before knowing trading. Now if you know how to trade and good at it that alone is hope that gives you joy BUT having all the money and don't know which direction to take brings continual sorrows and poverty.

1) We have started adding an additional MT5 demo server. This should free up a bit of bandwidth on the server. It may assist in order processing during news time but the VWAP is still the same
2) We will start using our demo 4 MT4 server soon as well. Please be sure to pay attention to your server details when you receive your account credentials
3) We have the C-Trader platform, we will not be releasing it until our dashboard update is released as it requires a few things from there to function correctly. We do not wish to rush the release so as to avoid problems as we have limited experience working with the C-broker systems. We also have to do some bridge testing to make sure the order routing is correct and there is limited/no delay in order processing. No ETA on release yet, but not too far away
4) We have had significant growth over the last 3 months. Far more than forecast. It has created queues in live chat. Our front end team is working around the clock to rectify that as quick as possible, please be patient in the meantime.
5) A few of our backend processes have been automated and a release has been issued today internally, it will help speed up payout processing time, specifically related to crypto and will help eliminate as many errors as possible
6) Our mailing system had issues yesterday. We have put in our backup plan for now and have built a new primary system we will release in the next 2-3 days. Hopefully lowering the number of emails that end up in Junk. Again if this brief outage we had effected you we are very sorry for the inconvenience.
7) And last but not least, we are back talking to paysafe who operate skrill. This time it appears we will get somewhere with it. Hopefully in the near future we will be able to offer them as a payment option.

It comes a time when one should pass on the knowledge accrued.

Well, this time has come, I will try to keep this as short and on point as possible, well structured and easy to follow.

1) Prop firms and FX

Ever wondered why Forex is so advertised ? Why there are so many "props" willing to throw you their money ?
Forex has the highest concentration of retail traders, newbies that trade against the broker / their own "liquidity". Read Risk Warning / counter party risk, any regulated broker will state exactly that. FX is OTC market. You have no access to real volume, order flow, depth of market with real unfiltered feed and aggregated on the exchange. This are just a few reasons why no one makes money trading Forex. You have no clue what is going on, you are trading from candlesticks charts while the other side are using totally different knowledge and platforms, in no case metatrader, indicators and candlestick price action. You are way better trading Futures on CME, Crypto on exchanges, stocks. No CFD's. Nothing that has no real orderflow attached to it.

Next, there is NO professional "prop firm" that activates in Forex. Not even 1. I am talking about real, licensed Proprietary firms. Any serious prop firm activates in other markets and only centralized markets, not OTC like Forex. Now, why is the internet full of this so called "prop firms" like my forex funds is or others that "want to give you their money" ?
Because their business is you. Your fees and paid lost challenges. That's it.

Now, let's consider what they ask you to do in order to get funded. Let's take the 100k account. Of this 100k, generally within this "prop firms", you can loose only 10%. You have a profit target of 10%. I will keep this simple without writing about the more advance stuff they oblige you to do to make sure you will eventually fail in the long run.
So, from 100k, you actually have just 10k that you have to double in the span of 30 days. Do you get it ?! YOU HAVE TO DOUBLE YOUR MONEY TRADING IN JUST 1 MONTH. This is pure gambling and big offense to any serious, seasoned trader. Just think of it, if a real professional trader would make 100% return on his 5.000.000 $ account, month by month, in what time the markets will evaporate ? But now let's consider the thousands of market participants that battle with huge sums of money over an annualized return of 50%. Again, 50%, annualized ?! Yet this "prop firms" ask you to make 100% in a month ?! While the pros target maybe 10% at most /month ? And they have all the pro tools, knowledge, access to very expensive real time news and so on. All in all, doubling account it is doable, but the markets won't allow you to keep it. Eventually your live funded account will go bust as long as you are still here, trading forex, from metatrader, using unregulated and unsupervised CFD's providers by my forex funds or others, especially in a demo environment basically. Wake up!

Next, spread and fees. Within metatrader there is a function that is paid separately by the broker called Virtual Dealer Plugin. Search google.
With this, they will slip the shit out of you, induce lag set in numerical seconds, raise the spread and many, many other functions. If you will take the time to read the thread on forex peace army you will find so many complaining about this. You can check further than that.

2. My experience and their trading conditions

This is and email wrote to them a few weeks back and I quote :

"Dear MFF staff,

I am writing you this email to properly settle what will come or change, if anything, in the near future regarding crypto trading on your platform, to make an informed decision about this.

As it stands and has been addressed so many times by MFF community, crypto trading is near to impossible on your platform.

Firstly, you have a DAILY 1 HOUR GAP in your feed, starting from 00:10 to 1:00 (GMT+2). In this time, no feed is provided, no take profit or stop loss is honored, although all crypto exchanges are working 24/7.

Secondly, you have a WEEKLY GAP OF 2 DAYS, Saturday and Sunday, when no feed is provided, no take profit or stop loss is honored, although all crypto exchanges are working 24/7.

And thirdly, your SPREAD MARKUP is just ridiculous compared to real live exchanges. Example on BTC, you have a fixed spread of 2,5 pips, whereas on exchanges there is a fraction of this.

All this makes, literally, scalping impossible because of your huge markup AND swing trading near to impossible as well because of so many, many gaps in your feed, day by day, week by week, when I can never close a position, add to one, take a partial profit, a stop loss, reposition myself accordingly or so many other functions us traders have to do.

Let's make a short calculation, we have a 5 hour gap Monday to Friday, a 48 hours gap Saturday and Sunday + another 2 hours gap from the aforementioned weekends, because you start providing feed 1 hour after 00:00 (GMT+2), so each session starts at 1:00 a clock.
This brings us to a TOTAL OF 55 HOURS OF FREEZE TIME ! Yet all the exchanges are MOVING, exchanges which you LP emulates ! I hope you see the BIG problem.

On behalf of our community and myself of course, I am asking, why are you advertising crypto trading when for sure you must know it is untradeable in the present conditions ?

I would like a firm response, is this going to change and if so, when ?

As it stands, I do not know what LP's you are using and how they are emulating feed and price, but undeniably , it is extremely disappointing and problematic.

Hope you will properly address this amongst all the implied parties.

Their trading conditions are atrocious compared to any other real, live exchanges with real traded volume where orders stay in the book and provide liquidity or market orders are passed and matched to a counterparty within the exchange.

Now, to sum it up, after I post this, number one, some will bash this post and come with trust pilot ratings. Those are bought. Do some research about this, many financial magazines wrote about trust pilot bought ratings. Secondly, some traders will come and claim that they are paid from profits and everything is beautiful. You will find others on a closer look that never managed to maintain their live account because of "miraculously" huge spreads, slippages, delay in execution, platform errors and so on. Now, they don't have to do that much, the forex business as it is takes care of the most part. They just add to that thru rules you must obey and the Virtual Dealer Plugin. I encourage you to just load an EA onto Traders Global group and register all the spreads and splippages you incurr in your MT4. The results you will find and especially on news are, well, you really must do it and at least compare it to a well known and regulated broker with real liquidity from a Prime of Prime (search about this) Again, you will be very amazed of the results. In time this adds up to a huge chunk of your account that you basically just trade to cover this costs, costs that are artificially set on their....DEMO servers. Do you see the irony ? And they motivate that this is to emulate live conditions. Well, they must have very bad commercial relationships with those who's live conditions they are emulating. Hilarious when you think about it.

For closure, I urge anyone to really dig all that I wrote here, most probably a great trading career awaits you outside forex and this "prop firms" that are actually B BOOK brokers reinvented in a demo environment without the hustle of obtaining any form of regulations to provide CFD's services. Word of advice, stay away from crap instruments, CFD's and so on. Move to the real markets.

To anyone that is on a paycheck and will start trolling, I will not reply further nor debate anything. This is to my fellow struggling traders and their hard earned money. Forex factory helped me raise so many questions to which eventually I found an answer, so many good traders around here that helped my with each little insight along the way. This is me giving back to the community, hundreds of hours searching, testing and understanding how this 2 industries, FX and fake prop firms operate.

A final side note, I found profitability the day I moved to an exchange traded asset (like futures are) and started learning the real stuff. The charts are just 40% of it or even less, another 40% or more is found in the real depth of market, volume profiling and orderflow learnings / tape reading whilst the remaining 20% or less is fundamental interpretation as this is most usually priced in already.

You might consider running this up the chain, but there are other firms (I won't mention names here), that not only have monthly competitions for traders to procure free accounts, but they also offer a wide range of tasks that can be performed for traders to earn points, that can then be exchanged for challenges and other company-related products.

These tasks usually encompass things like writing blog posts and other types of advertising that help to bring more awareness to the company. This is a win-win that allows everyone to participate, even traders that may be living in very low-income countries, while also bringing more awareness, potential growth and even credibility to the company.

Anyway, just a thought.

If you are trading your accounts seperately, we might have to ask you for some documents that proofs it isn't an account management service, that won't be a problem to have same IP with your spouse.

If that is the case here, I suggest you to contact with our support team to let us know upfront. Otherwise our system will mark it as account management and the process of unbreaching will take longer.

Neither we nor metatrader is a crypto trading platform. We are a prop firm that offers crypto trading to those who would like to day trade them with the conditions we offer. Choosing to trade them or not is something up to you. Because after all you are the one taking the risk to trade them like other fx pairs. The conditions are very clear in our platform. We are not claiming that we have the best conditions comparing to other crypto exchanges or brokers. Once again, it is your decision to trade them or not.

Regarding to the gaps you mentioned, our servers are closed during the weekend like most of other brokers/prop firms, again we do not make any aggressive marketing about crypto trading because the nature of it doesn't suit well to metatrader. This is something out of our control unfortunately.

Since we are offering live market conditions, the liquidity, market depth and volume on crypto is actually coming from our LP's which we don't have any control over once again. As you suggested if we implement an EA to emulate better conditions, it won't be anything near live market conditions which isn't our company policy. Once again, we are not claiming that we have the best conditions for crypto trading but we never hide anything regarding to our trading conditions. You can always contact with our support team to get information about the conditions.

I would like to correct one thing there. We do not take deposits or act as a legal custodian of other peoples money. This is why we are not a broker. Whether a firm a books or b books is irrelevant to the conversation because any dealing whether it be a b c or whatever dealing strategy they choose is done so with proprietary money, hence the term “prop firm”. It insinuates the fact that traders are trading our capital.

There are no documents in the world that can prove there is not an account management system. So you are not mentioning it.

She will do her trades, I will do my trades. With all likelihood all trades, or almost all of them will be different. This obsession with the IP shows you are not very well informed, you are not even aware that people can use VPN to have changing IPs.

We are planning to have competitions on regular basis in the future. However, we are more focused on the tools, conditions and processes we have to provide a better service to our traders. As it was announced here, perhaps we can take it into consideration once again when we are done with our new dashboard, who knows.
