Don't see a point to trade during Asian session - low volatility, increased spreads, I think there are little advantages for FX traders in this trading time.

The Asian session is a good opportunity to make money in the Forex market. The most important thing is to choose the right trading strategy.

2. Wake up at 2am ET and trade the London session.
3. Use mobile trade apps to check and trade on setups while at work during NY session.

previously, i lost lot of money during NY open. profit 3 weeks in the row, and lost it all in one night. it happen countless times, until i realize this pattern. i change it to opposite of what most trader did, scalping gold during Asian session until mid day of London open. i don't care much about - liquidity and volume, even "they" have said it is mandatory criteria to make money on currency trading. surprisingly, trading on asian session, the profit is good and secure. And most importantly, immune from market manipulation from those US bankers during NY open.

my strategy, scalping gold on M5. catching high and lows, buy at bottom and sell high. I stop trading 1 or 2 hours before NY open. since i live in Asia, i sleep early, sound and well every night. i have no open position overnight, thus i don't care much about any US news.

if anyone wonder, i'm using tma strategy with NRP tma indicator. only scalping Gold on M5 tf.

Generally I avoid times when the liquidity is low. Quality of execution is less predictable also sometimes spread widening happens and if your SL is triggered it can be very frustrating.

Is it really? I think just opposite of it. I think USA traders are lucky considering some of the aspects. Can’t you change the time session of your trading? I think it will benefit you to some extent.

You didn't get the point! The volume of Asian session is too low! On the other hand, using London session is relatively tough for US traders! So, it's really challenging if I compare with any Asian traders! In Asia, you can use both- London and US.
For Gold, NY session offers superior tradability compared to London.

Gold should be fine
No high volaity during the asian session
so its easy to catch the smal trends

The Asian session usually moves slower because volume and volatility are lower, so it is best suited for range trading and short scalps. Many traders mark the previous day’s high and low, then look for price to bounce between those levels until London opens. Breakouts during this time often fail, so fading moves at clear support and resistance works better.
Pairs tied to Asian markets like AUDJPY or USDJPY tend to move more consistently than EURUSD or GBPUSD. Using tight stops, smaller targets, and focusing on sessions overlap with Sydney or early London gives the best chance for clean trades without fake breakouts.

The common issue of Asain session is low volume; so usually I don’t expect breakout trades in this session! Instead of breakout trade, reversal trades are my ultimate choice of trading in this narrow session!

Besides, I would like use JPY related trading pairs & Gold only! I attached a picture of my reversal trade (most favorite one), usually I always try to get this setup on H1.
