Late US Session Early Asia Session Trading

Hello everyone,

I have read many forums and found some good strategies to win in the FX market. However, I have one big challenge. Because of my work schedule, I can only trade from 13:00 to 20:00 EST. All trading techniques and systems I have seen seem to give entry signals when I am not trading. I do not want to try EAs yet as I am new to Forex but have equity and option on equity experience.

Any suggestions?

Since you are limited on your trading timeframe you could look at a system like OzFx's daily system. Only takes a few minutes a day with good results. Trading decisions are based on a daily candle that closes at midnight GMT which falls within your trading timeframe.

I would also stick to daily strategies. 16:00 - 20:00 EST puts me to sleep most days (rare occasions like today notwithstanding). The volume is very low, making the moves whippy and not very meaningful (lots of false breaks, runs on important stop levels, etc). 90% of the major moves in any currency are going to fall within 02:00 - 11:00 EST.
