Morning busy but actually slow, PA moving but slowly and kind of jumpy especially the Euro. 6 small winners and currently short again on GBP

using the 50 RSI cross on MTF analysis, i kind of highlight the power of it in my other thread, You could time it with your base rule set and get some nice extra confirmation. But now that I think of it, you use RENKO bars, so would be kind of different.

Waited to trade till after reaction to Powells speech settled down. 5 trades good results for an hours work.

We have a Fed speaker scheduled for 10 AM. It has been hit or miss whether the market reacts strongly to these individual speakers or not, but generally it is best to treat pending Fedspeak as potential Red news, even if it isn't classified as such by the FF calendar.

Lately the best trading volatility of the day has been the hour after the NYSE opens, or after 12:00 to 1:00 PM Eastern.

MES/ES has been a better trading instrument than 6B or 6E lately.

You have to keep something in trading basket beside the currencies. Today EURUSD and GBPUSD were not offering much if anything.

MES/ES were a gift that gave from 9:30 straight through the close at 16:00 Eastern. Oil and Gold also nice swings.

3 trades so far 2 closed on the Euro and 1 open on the ES. Waited for 20 minutes to trade after NFP data.

I was quite ill last week and drained early this week. I traded yesterday for the first time in almost two weeks (I think?).

MES only, and I'm just scalping using standar 1 minute candles. Its a thing I do to get back in rhythm with the market.

I made a little game of it, and I might b[ost about here. Yesterday was extraordinary because we had such a nice one way trend. I did well after NFP, a few scalps.

We'll see what the NYSE hours gives us today.

THat's it for me today, some fast PA today especially the ES. Happy with what I got, but PA was fast enough on ES to be stressful.

Hi Rocky, is your broker time on the x-axis set at NY EST?, or is there an offset?

My charts are set to Mountain time, so 2 hours befor NY.
