RSS (Ridiculously Simple System)

Hey don't get much time to post these days but still using the system and still works (for me). Only change is I am now using MT5 and new indicators attached.

Things I think about entry ( there are better threads in ff about money management position sizing etc.)

Time of day. The high or low of the day is almost always set in the first three hours of the London session.

If you enter short or long from the last large semafore (pink or blue dots) it will continue in that direction to at least three MACD bars. Consider taking or locking in profit then.

Sometimes it doesn't turns and creates a new high which is where your stop loss comes in. Then look for the next entry. Don't take my word for it though do your own testing.

Didn't trade this today (wish I had) potential of around 60 -70 pips had you entered around the TDi cross.

Can see the system nicely on this pair the last couple of days. Same things happen every day just need to recognise them and take action.

I really like your MT5 setup. Much cleaner and nicer than your (still helpful) MT4 setup from post 1.
Is there a semaphore alert available? Don`t know or use MT5 yet.

Could have re entered after smaller blue semafor and could have made circa 40 pips, but I only trade the larger ones.

Still works. Don't have time to post so much these days but still trading this way.

A particularly good day today on a number of pairs. Circa 350 pips on these four.

Rules the same trade away from last '3' semaphore, wait for TDi cross or look for it for confirmation and hold until MACD goes through 0 (which it will always do if the 3 holds).

Use preferred stop loss, and exit strategies take pips, and look for the next one. Simple

Got stopped out after 20+ pips in my favour and moving my stop loss to break even.




Of course has since gone down again and has broke through the MACD 0 as expected. That's trading I guess.

I normally enter with a SL of 50pips or at the last semaphore. If a trade goes 20-25 pips in my favor will try to move SL to break even plus a pip or two.

Nice 100 pips trade today.

Couple of hours before london open but i couldnt resist

HI , take the same trade on GBPUSD ,i enter long at 1.18221 ,SL was hit at 1.1804 just to change direction after. Like this happen every time for me
