I remember a recent discussion with James. He certified me that the funded accounts trade the real capital of Finotive. I think they are practically the only ones to do this and that is certainly why they have so many rules (because everything is done so that the trader does not lose his capital)
This is in line with your final question, their business model is different
Update on MyFundedFX:

Completed the 14-day minimum for a profit split. Requested A withdrawal last night. Woke up this morning with DEEL contract waiting. Signed the contract and it was approved by MFFX in about 60 seconds. Requested an ACH withdrawal from DEEL and it's already in my bank account.

I don't want to sound like a shill for MFFX but their support is really good. They are migrating accounts to the new and improved tradehub which has caused endless questions/concerns in discord. I feel bad for the mods. They answered me instantly throughout the whole process and migrated my account over through chat. I now have new credentials so I can keep trading. Once you are migrated over you will always have the same credentials going forward. The only downside for some may be that they are now using 8CRAP. Personally, I have no issues with them. My only issue is following my trading plan and using good risk management.

Not bad for 2 weeks on a 10K account. Somebody pat me on the back before I blow up

It does seem like they are looking to copy your trades or are allowing you to trade with "their money" but as Capablanca has presented before if you were to put the same amount of funds in a live account you can grow your account faster under the same risk parameters. At some point the scaling my catch up but the time sacrifice is too much for me.

They are pretty good, specially 2-3 modos on Discord (they answer faster and sometimes better than the support chat)

MFFX is growing and improving, coming in the top 5. But they still have a big leak with their 8% DD

Always nice to know when a firm is paying (which at the end of everything is the most important).

It's a pitty that their pricing sucks with they 8% max loss (if we compute it's one of the worse if not the worse around). And the data sell of personal information mentioned by Taskid is not something good.

Btw,
1. How was the KYC ? Documents are provided by email, upload in the site or through an external company ?
2. Was that fast to get the funded credentials ?
3. What about the phase 1 to phase 2 ? Is that automatic ?

Well, with the 15% discount, I think the pricing is fine. About $180US for the 2-step 25K. I paid $90US for my one-step 10K.

Also, I don't worry about 8-12% drawdown. If I need to go more than 8% in drawdown then it's not likely my trading plan/risk management is any good anyways and wouldn't likely pass even if the drawdown was 12%.

The one step only gave me a 6% drawdown to earn 10% and that wasn't a problem. But I know it depends on a person's trading style. I tend to scalp high-leverage tight stops during the evaluation and then use more of a small position intraday netting strategy for the funded account.

Everything is super fast and automated. The new trade hub came out on the date they stated. I had them migrate my account to the new hub. Now funded traders will keep the same credentials for the life of the account which is nice. They switched to 8CAP and you can choose meta4 or 5

Thanks for the information. I've been thinking of getting into the prop space soon, so it's good to read people's feedback. I'll add MFFX to my list of firms to consider. Also looking at The Funded Trader and Rocket21.

With the new environment :

1) Automated (external)

2) Generally it's after one day review (only one hour the last time with Tradehub)

3) Automatic
Just tried the new E8 funding "E8 TRACK" 3-phase evaluation. You have to earn 8% then 5% then 5% again. The drawdown for all is 8%.

25K account costs a mere $138. I know it's not most people's cup of tea and I'm sure someone has some metric or weird math calculation that says it's really a bad deal etc etc. But it's $90 cheaper than the 2 phase and is right up my alley.

Anywho, passed phase one in 2 hours this morning. Perfect environment to scalp after the Core CPE print.

I made a trial one time, but I lost my account because I didn't like MT4 and they do not offer anymore trials.

ok just checked now, E8 offer again trials, unfortunately only MT4, I will try monday to make a new trial to test
their FX spreads

What is daily drawdown and how it is calculated on E8 Track account ?


Daily Drawdown is initially calculated by 5% of your initial balance or scaled balance (balance after withdrawal) of your account.
