Ata, I'm trying to understand your reasoning for shorts for the past few months already. If you look at emerging markets and yield differencials then those two clearly have supported longs. I said this a while back too when the market was trading around 1.06ish.

Why do you keep fighting the fundamentals? I think you are completely wrong side of macro analysis. Why does everybody want to short the euro? there's a structural shift in the dollar that can lead the eurusd towards 1.3+. Sure retracements will happen every now and then but the big picture is not to the downside, imo. Look at chart attached.

Hello mate! If I may. Both approach are valid, in my view. But they are exactly that, two different approaches. One does not make the other any less good. Ata takes small bites, as his shares attest. You talk about big movers. Plenty of small bites to take in both directions, no matter the big moves. With good strategy, in my experience, even the most sustained move in one direction hides plenty of countertrend opportunities. Just my 2 cents. Hope I didn't overstep. Dynamic SL now at 08987, right below the 15m BO candle:

From 1min entry to 15min management, done gradually, while respecting price's movements and conditions in every moment.

To mimic 1min, 15m still has some work to do !!! Not out of the woods till it reaches, at the very least, 0925 !

I trade the M30... Lots of longs lots of shorts... I shared some of my sell entries based on "harmonic" patterns, which might have worked, but inside these months of choppiness they didn't... I don't mind though.. Many here know that I don't give a rat's ass about fundamentals.. The chart means everything to me. I mainly use fundamentals during the hours of red news.. To pause trading or to make use of the fast momentum... Often, after the storm settles, I keep trading the M30 as I normally would... simple as that..

I never understand why people are so concerned about what I do, but here you have my comment.. I hope it answers..

This is AAA solid analysis that I have not seen in years.
I may not agree with your target at 1.3 yet, but we will have to see as the market unfolds itself.

But for my analysis the movement may be rollback on the level of 1.09560. And then might be start the bearish time. But only if the pair falls below the level of 1.07620.

thanks for your reply. Yeah, i'm not concerned at all what you do, i was just discussing

maybe i remember wrong, but i thought you were seeing like close to parity again or below with your long term views. Anyway, doesnt matter. I just gave my analysis so other traders would understand what is behind the moves and why indicators or patters like divergences fail when conditions don't support it. I also collect sentiment across social media and let me say that pretty much 90%+ see eurusd as short. Knowing how dealer market works, it was pretty clear that the market is being made to the upside only. Cheers.
