The thing here often is (after a whole decade of experience): despite the contrarian view it changes the trend at a given point of time and AFTERWARDS the sentiment changes to the wrong side again. So the sentiment is always lagging. Be careful relying on that exclusively.

In my experience, the sentiment becomes wrong at a certain percentage and after a certain amount of time has elapsed wherein the movers have changed positions and absorbed all orders. It doesn't change in a blink. In fact, it cannot change in a blink. Orders have to be absorbed in the opposite direction for a change to occur. Finally, this isn't a trade method. It only helps compliment your trade method.

Thanks, however, for your warning. I'll keep an eye out.
